  1. Anyone know of a good builder near Taunton/Bridgwater area? My mother needs a large amount of rendering done on the outside of her property and is struggling to get more than one quote. Turns out lots of firms are busy on flood repairs.
  2. That's a beautiful bowl, love the way it's pulled out of true. Good price too👏👏
  3. Great initiative Steve Just signed up, will be adding saws etc at weekend. Are there any restrictions on types of tools/machines? Workshop tools, bandsaws, lathe etc
  4. Won't play for me on a tablet 👎 Maybe try YouTube
  5. 👏👏👏👏👏
  6. One thing to remember with chemical anchor is that ambient temperature can vary the drying time immensely, in summer it is minutes in winter I usually come back the next day.
  7. Could only happen to you mate 😁😁 That photo means a lot to me, really ought to get it scanned and a copy hung on my wall
  8. What he said 👆 Not grip fill but chemical anchor/fixing (whatever you want to call it) I use this one cos I'm a skinflint http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Screws+Fixings/Chemical+Fixings/Polyester+Resin+380ml/d90/sd1960/p74884
  9. The only time I've seen them even remotely work was in a around a silage pit where the owl was moved to a different position daily and the chap also had 2 or 3 different one so would swap the over periodically so it looked like a different bird. Still didn't work for much more than 3 months
  10. Just a wee bit off topic This was our families butchers shop in Watcher, Somerset. Had shop on the street with slaughter house and lairage behind. These cattle were being brought in and were posed for the photo. Sorry about the reflections on the photo, its a shot of the photo hanging on my mums wall
  11. Works both ways, an old boss of mine once asked to borrow my socket set whilst I was out on a job. "No problems" I said "its in my car, help yourself" Got back 6 hours later, no sign of the boss and no sign of my socket set, eventually found it sat in the silage pit, wide open in the pouring rain! He had to buy his own socket set after that.
  12. Seems to me to be a great opportunity for people to put their views across, (almost) straight to the decision makers
  13. Glad its not just then, never liked to admit it 😮
  14. Didn't even think of reporting it Steve, will try and be on the ball a bit more next time
  15. Dave Allen on the TV, insulting pretty much everyone in equal measure
  16. Wrestling on ITV on wet winter Saturday afternoons (used to help my dad deliver paraffin on Saturdays but if we got home by 4 we were still in time to watch the wrestling)
  17. Had our first homegrown honeydew melon last night, bloody lovely👍
  18. Perry loaders, had forgotten about them, or was it my mind blocking it out. How about unloading a lorry load of nitram in small bags on your own cos the boss "has to make some phonecalls"
  19. A quick tap out on the back of the workshop door and she'll be fine Barrie
  20. At which point I'd inform him that his services were no longer required
  21. A complete strip down, clean and rebuild with a good bit of grease transformed mine
  22. That'll get you up and running with a bit of work 👍 Great offer. Now you just need some chisels and then learn how to get them properly sharp (really struggled with this bit myself)
  23. Umm... If you don't use one and don't plan to get one then if I were you I wouldn't worry too much about it

    How to check rpm

Yep, thats the one I linked to. Totally wireless, just point it at the plug/ht lead and it gives you the revs. A lot less messing about.
