  2. Makita DCS 520 is a great saw.
  3. Very interesting TGB, thanks for the link. My first saw was a 61with grey top cover and it had a sticker on it with a anniversary date 1689/ 1989 300 years of Husqvarna. It was a great saw and i cut a lot of firewood with it, I sold it to get my 372xp, I now wish I kept it.
  4. I think I need my eyes tested as I could not read the writing on the bottom, but I can see it now.I know they make / did make firearms being a shooter but cook wear well that's a new one on me.
  5. Fm I bet that hurt. I remember my mate getting 020t rash right across his forearm, proper opened him up and 25 stitches later, he was very lucky the saw was on run down and not on full chat.
  6. It may be orange but there's not Husky emblem on it so I don't want it.
  7. I'm a plant op but am not involved in that job, I expect there were tree work done at the start but as it's nearing the end of the job i would imagine there isn't much left to do apart from tree planting which they said was going to happen. Don't quote me on this but I believe they are planting in the region of 15000 tree's on the job.
  8. Hi Matt I went through Newton the other day and was like WTF is going on here lol.
  9. Hi Jon it's refers to the Kingskerswell bypass that's near Newton Abbot / Torquay area. The residents of Kingskerswell have been calling for a bypass for years as it's a busy through road through that village. I believe it's costing something in the region of 200 million to construct.
  10. The lorry driver was on Radio Devon the other day talking about how he came to write about the song.
  11. What about all countries, there are good places and bad places. Personally I like where I live in Devon and then you have Plymouth which is sometimes referred to the asshole of Devon
  12. My mate had the same problem with a 020t that stripped the threads, when he took it have it repaired they said the case is not thick / wide enough to drill and put helicoil in so a perfectly good 020t is sat in his garage waiting to be repaired.
  13. I was going to ask the same thing as my willans t22 has a bit of mould on it also, mind you it hasn't seen the light of day for a good 3yrs being tucked away in the shed. It's a good idea cable tying and gaffer taping the buckles up so I don't damage the wife's washing machine
  14. I'll be watching the live streaming, but when wil itl be broadcast on Eurosport channel any ideas.
  15. Buddah, I have just rebuilt my 372xp from bottom up. crank, Meteor pot and piston kit including gasket kit from Declicmotorculture.com in France delivered to my door in a week and no import duty to pay as it's in the eu and for £121 including postage and delivery insurance. Could not fault service I received. Alain is the chap who you need to speak / email to also was able to pay by paypal. Declicmotorculture.com
  16. You could try NorthernTrack, they do grabs for all excavators.
  17. Nice looking decorations there Mike, by the way the other week you were asking about a spring on Makita 520 did the pic's I put up help you out?
  18. Got both so use both. Axe when I have rings I have taken home to put in my shed to split later and hydraulic spliter when doing loads. The splitting axe I have is a Draper one and ive had it 15yrs and still on the original hickory handle . Hydraulic spliter is a 12ton ktm machinery one made in Cornwall.
  19. Excellent, next problem is bar make, spend some cash for a lightweight Sugihara or a cheaper Oregon powermatch or Husqvarna Em? Decisions decisions
  20. Found this fungi yesterday whilst cutting up an oak. Im not a fungi expert but would like to know what it is.
  21. Worked in a factory years ago and was in a syndicate with 9 others we won £2500 so £250 each came in handy just before Christmas. I had 3 winning lines out of 4 on euromillions lucky dip 3 weeks ago, I thought I was going to be in the money and it turned out I picked up £17 WTF!
  22. J do you reckon the 7901 would run a 30" bar, I need a bit more length and not in the trouser department:lol: but don't want to be buying an even bigger saw just for the bar, mind you would like a big saw if funds permitted.
