  1. More UK students are studying abroad then ever......its been a slowly increasing thing. Can't really see the downside myself. Hope it continues to be an option whatever happens in brexit
  2. Be interested in this also
  3. Students from outside eu can only work 20hrs a week whilst they study and ha ing studies in UK does not entitle then to work in UK. Also nothing stopping you learning a foreign language if you want to
  4. Will be watching this thread carefully as have the same issues. Using a 13mm yale xtc and 10mm ocean.
  5. Roughly how much are you after?
  6. I've often wished I had my own saws on jobs where they said I didn't need to bring saws....saws that nobody owns always seem to in Shan condition
  7. Two can play at that game, my address is 2 new houses, ninebanks
  8. Can you give it to me for free please?
  9. Sweet well long as your sure. Other end and branches end grain look good? Can't help terms of price.....it always seems like too much by the time you got it back to yard and milled up...
  10. Id be a bit worried about that Brown rot. You get something out of it but suspect you could loose a third to that. Hard to tell from pics but I have wasted a lot of time milling oak with end grain like that
  11. Just received a stihl rollomatic e from l and s for 43quid. Was expecting a es bar as that was advertised as....anyone used both es and e type and ha e anything to say about them?
  12. That was some good quick supermarket punning, best thread for a while
  13. Heard trust ins are good. Not used them myself. One call direct have been cheap In past
  14. More worth milling stuff if you are going to use it yourself. But any spare bits I have seems to get sold eventually, just sold some 40'' wide beech I milled 5 years ago to a cafe. You ever let anyone know you have sheds of boards?
  15. Keep it up joe. Keeping me entertained anyways.....
  16. I was just thinking of something funny to say, but hit refresh and seen you done the job nicely Joe. Thanks
  17. Did they mention why discontinuing? Hope it wasn't cos of all the failures etc
  18. Would you be happy paying for any damage to subbies kit if damaged? That bonus idea sounds like a good incentive to work hard..... Unsure of how to deal with kit damage. my feeling is if you're making money from other people working for you and they damage stuff then you gotta soak it up....get people in you can trust with kit. Accidents happen. Winds me up when I see lads treating their bosses kit badly though...
  19. L and s engineers get it to you next day almost always and are very cheap http:// https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/10432 Not sure if that's the right pin
  20. Re bridge on leg loops looking through gustarts website seems attached in same place as other harnesses?
  21. I have the singing rock timber.....it seems good. Nice and light, easy to lift legs up high etc. Occasional testicular issues and slips down from time to time ( I have never had a harness that doesn't though) I have gone to this from a dragon fly which is a comfier harness to watch your ground crew fanny about from but feels bulkier and harder to squeeze through tight spots etc..... I cannot compare to the other posher harnesses as I only see these on videos on the web http:// https://arbtalk.co.uk/forums/topic/47407-singing-rock-timber-harness/
  22. Not worked on this model but have a quick Google, lots of pics of complete brake mechs and a few brake rebuild vids for 391 so they should give you the info. Good luck
  23. I see, in the app you just seemed a bit grumpy!
