  1. Hopefully this isn't habit forming but I agree with Vesp to an extent. It's your best shot of doing it cheap. Not ideal as they likely won't have insurance and should have a rescue climber but you might find someone hungry. I'd still be charging more than I freelance for mind.
  2. I know it's going to suck hard spending a week hauling a big boy chainsaw round the tree.
  3. you ported and 2511s yet Steve? I'll be boxing mine up for you this week.
  4. I dont understand any of this post. Its just a different way of storing your hand saw. How it changes the way you use it is beyond me, as is how it makes it safer. Personally I found it a pain having to strap it to your leg each climb, and it could rotate round the back of your leg and the handle would dig into the back of your knee. Each to their own though.
  5. Perhaps they're still trying to start them...
  6. Even at 350g heavier? That's no small amount.
  7. It's possible you've used a depth guage meter for the wrong size chain. Easily done. 5 our so file strokes on each tooth and see if it's better. That should rule it out.
  8. If you want it, I want a photo. Full frontal, harness and nothing else
  9. They aren't, that's why they're up for grabs. @Tommy_B will have to work for them though
  10. Rupe, I've a set of the TM shoulder straps that aren't getting any use from me. If you want them drop me a message with your address. They also double as an srt chest harness Considering I'm a skinny bitch with no arse I don't really have a problem with the TM slipping until i get to 066 size
  11. I reckon there's probably quite a few people who might "beat you on price mate". Not saying they'd do a decent job, make a profit or be qualified/insured mind. Often tickles me to read that statement on people's advertising though.
  12. Don't blame you, it's the reason you're outnumbered 5:1 in your house!
  13. Ast last you've already got the saddle and reins for it though.
  14. Christ! I didn't know that about him! Seem them twice live, brilliant!
  15. wasn't prying mate but fair play. You choose a good gig to make that decision to. Went to a Rise Against gig a few years back. Most of the lads stayed at the back, my best mate and I went straight to the front when they opened. Caught up with each other on the train home, both of us bloodied and drenched in other people's sweat. We then proceeded to make the whole carriage uncomfortable as he made jokes about my sister and I decided to loudly lie about the fact that she was 13 next week. Good times.
  16. only the done thing if you're going to have someone's pants down. In case anyone wonders if James is joking, he's not.
  17. I think it helps with the shafting...
  18. I imagine they'd be epic live. Not sure how that would stop me drinking though
  19. Evil eye is a cracker
  20. Some proper American pop punk from the late nineties.
  21. I've got a 16 year old B2500 Mazda. Decent truck, but it's screaming at 3,000rpm on the motorway and lacks power towing. That said is super reliable...
  22. The first 99 on that list is "coke and whores"...
  23. Yeah, Redline synthetic 2 stoke racing oil. 50:1, there's no point mixing it at 40:1. Its that good you could probably run it even leaner than 50:1 with no ill effect.
  24. Rupe, a touch of topic but do you foresee a lot of use for srt on spikes? When wearing spikes I make a point of using them to ascend rather than my rope. Srt is fantastic for pruning etc but I don't get the appeal for dismantles.
