  1. Yeah got no problem with the HC pulley. Just need to find the right hitch combo. I'll probably use tachyon instead of the velocity as it flattens much less. I've ordered some Velcro, if that doesn't work I'll buy a CT. I'll probably buy one anyway mind. I'm using a homemade tether from vectran, quadrupled, stitched with ten stitches four times along each leg. Few layers of heat shrink over that. It's not ideal though, and I can't be arsed making another. I'll buy a 4srt 30cm one. Gotta set up the croll right too. Gonna try splicing it onto a tenex footloop with a TM gear loop tube and elastic through it.
  2. I finally spent a day on the wrench. Tipping back and deadwooding a nice spready oak from a house. I found using redirects to drop me to the edge of the crown great! Had a few problems with my pantin kicking out, and my haas needs a bit more dialling in I think. Getting past branches was a pain. I also added more heat shrink to my tether near the wrench, and now it doesn't disengage properly on ascent, so I'm fighting a bit of friction there. Didn't like the combo of a 4 wrap Knut on velocity either. Mixture of the velocity being too soft, and the Knut binding too tight. I'll get there.
  3. That exhaust looks much bigger than the one you did on mine! I'm sending it back! You done many 201t's Spud? I've done a rudimental muff mod, how much difference does the advance and carb tweak give?
  4. No, I spent blood and tears removing the clutch to change the sprocket because it made absolutely no difference...
  5. 8mm AP splice. Eyes are a touch uneven and it's a bit stiff after the eyes. I'll see how it works.
  6. No sense chucking a new bar. Use it til it's worn, them replace with something better.
  7. I'm looking to get into SRT. I tried a wrench and a runner recently. I preferred the wrench, which I wasn't expecting. Half the price too which works for me.
  8. You could just buy one and try not to chainsaw your upper body?
  9. Not if you tie it tight and clip the tail end back up so it's not dangling down. I "shortened" my strop to 2.5m a while back though, so don't bother with a daisy chain any more.
  10. I've tried that one. Found it was too heavy and tended my lanyard when I didn't want it to. Daisy chain clipped up to my harness worked better.
  11. What is the prussik contributing? Clipping a crab back onto the lowering line tightens with it's own weight. With a prussik not only are you adding an extra link into the system, you have to physically tighten it yourself. Seems like it's making more work, not less. Decent steel krab on the end for me. Heavy stuff pop a half hitch in front, really heavy stuff the 18mm line comes out and use knots. Not having a go, just raising a point.
  12. Same as Steve. 3 way swivel snap with 2.5m velocity spliced onto it, with a positioner swivel. Works lovely. Could do with being a bit longer but the swivel crab is well worth it.
  13. Must be the weather that does it. Probably less joggers and cyclists in the country that invented the deep fried mars bar too
  14. The lads take great pleasure in informing me they've ran out of brash on the deck, so I can kick it up a notch. It's a competition!
  15. Cool, I'll get in touch when I run out. Still got a fair bit though! I'd rather support someone in the industry anyway.
  16. I'll have what he's having! Prozac?
  17. My boiler doesn't make water hot enough for that! Came very close to putting a 395 on finance earlier. My girlfriend was actually egging me on! I came over all boring and sensible at the last minute.
  18. Tsb and treebay done. First time I've sullied myself by posting on either. I feel dirty.
  19. I use Red Line, I buy from Opie Oils. How do you sell it?
