  1. And to think... If you hadn't spent so much time faffing about with grinders, how well you could be doing with World of Warcraft.
  2. There's no substitute for a big saw on a small bar in that situation! What dia were the limbs Steve? My ported 357 doesn't get much climb time. Only the rare big free fall dismantle like that! Be honest, did you use spikes?
  3. I wonder how the guys who's bridges failed lived to post the photos? To be honest for how long a bridge should last it's not worth skimping
  4. Exactly, why risk a £700 machine for s fivers worth of fuel?
  5. Crikey Andrew you shouldn't have a problem shifting that! Does it have a buyer?
  6. Quinine tablets? Just drink G&T ya big fairy!
  7. Smart water costs as much as petrol. Dioralyte for the really hot days like today, water for the remainder of the year. Dioralyte is also great when you've had a few beers and don't want too feel like Shane McGowan's toilet the morning after.
  8. In all seriousness 3 litres of pure water should be the minimum for anyone working in this heat. A sachet of dioralyte in the morning and afternoon is a good idea too. If you're seeing regularly it's a good sign. Sacking off the saw trousers today.
  9. I had a couple in the sun yesterday afternoon and I was asleep by eight!
  10. ...and he cannot lie? There's have to be two dozen threads on which logs are the best for towing in a Brain James trailer THANKS MATE.
  11. 5l of diet coke! You won't see 50!
  12. Luckily for me mine started playing up last week so I'm happy to send it back.
  13. What differences are there? I don't like change.
  14. I reckon when the suppliers have been this decent about making sure you get your loan saw, and organising the pickup of the recalled one with minimum hassle to the user, it's the least we can do to make sure that it's boxed up ready for collection on time.
  15. Mine wasn't. Apologies to the mods.
  16. How much you looking for?
  17. Is it the 2001 fixed bollard? Or the 2000 floating type?
  18. Ooh someone's had a couple of shandies! It's worth dropping it in to your dealer for a look, you'll get a lot further than just asking "what's wrong with my blower" online! The price of repair is valid, a dealer should at least be able to tell you if it's beyond economical repair, or just needs a quick tune. Are you really struggling to see the logic?
  19. So enlighten me. In this case would that not be the best course of action? Depending on how much the machine cost a repair will likely not be worth it.
  20. If it's used one a month two week down time isn't an issue really. Even less when you have a handheld backup.
  21. Don't listen to Rob. That stem is worth thousands.
  22. Cheers TCD, spoken to them but it was just a bit far for 'em. Oh that hurt Johnny!
