  1. I work for a groundworks contractor, and we are pricing a job to five ways roundabout next to Pinewood Studios, near Slough. There is maybe 3-5 days work clearing mature trees, and bushes to allow for road widening works on all approaches to the roundabout. There is a tree surgeon someone in the area has used before they are going to for a price, but wondered if anyone on here would be interested in the job. Would be looking to maybe meet up to look at the job Monday for an hour or so. We are tendering the job, but have just completed 18 months of work on the extension to the studios, so have a good chance of getting the job. If you are interested post up your details below, or give me a ring on 07977 236763, and i will get our QS to contact you. We are looking to move prety quickly on this, so would need to be within the next day or so. Would need to be fully certified, insured etc. Tom

    Look out.

I had 25k of survey gear nicked from my van in Highgate north London this week....must be the time of year Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  3. I am an engineering surveyor by trade and could do this with my GPS to 10mm or so, but thus wouldn't be too cheap. A simpler version of the GPS I use is this http://surveyequipment.com/leica-zeno-20/ not sure on the hire cost though. Worth noting if going down the GPS path that it doesn't work under/around trees Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  4. The screws will only turn one full turn. Saw is about 9 months old, and has only had about a gallon of fuel through it Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks guys. I had a few problems with it running then stalling from cold, so had a bit of a mess around with it myself. Got it running ok now, but just want to check what I've done isn't gonna kill it over time Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  6. I bought exactly the same saw for pretty much the same purpose, only thing is it perhaps lacks a bit of power when cutting through stuff the full length of the bar. Apart from that can't fault it Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  7. Is there anyone in the Coventry area, or just south of that could have a look at setting the carb on a Sthil Ms211 for me. I've got it running on Aspen as it only has occasional use, and just want to make everything is set up as it should be Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  8. I bought a 15 quid set of various security bits from screwfix that has one that looks like it might do that Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  9. Metlife offer a nice simple one. My mortgage advisor set the others up for me, not sure who they are with, friends life might be one. I have critical illness cover, income protection, and life cover, also added a few of the Metlife units onto it Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  10. I run these and can't fault them, just go steady in the wet. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  11. Has anyone looked at London Power Tools, they will deliver around London on their own vans. They are mega cheap compared to RRP prices. Bought my saw from them, and one for a mate, can't fault them Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  12. Why would dealers have to know or make it available? You are buying the truck, it is up to you to know which laws apply to it. I could go and buy a 3.5t trailer tomorrow and start towing it around. It is up to me to ensure that I have the correct vehicle to tow it and the correct licence Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  13. Having been a Navara owner for many years, mine has always been tested as a class 4. But have heard of people having problems with Mot stations with regard to them being tested as class 7 Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  14. http://www.nissan-navara.net/showthread.php?t=28979 Gets discussed loads of times on the pickup forums. Long story short, same as car Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  15. http://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_200617142_200617142?hotline=false I have used these for years, on my 2nd one as the first got nicked. Currently using it on my Navara. Tested up to 110 on the Nav ;-) Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
