  1. No worries Yve it was worth an ask 😊 like the sound of a comp though!
  2. I believe spud is your man, looks like a quote for works to me 😉 He sorted my seized 066, send him a pm 👍
  3. Cheeky question Yve, are you offering discount if jacket and trousers are bought together?
  4. Someone mentioned earlier that the sites author lost interest so it's now no longer moderated
  5. Pretty shocking abuse, sounds like an angry drunk. Unbelievable that Facebook don't see that as offensive behaviour. If it's not race, sex, religious or disability related you're fair game it seems 👎
  6. Found two, where the he'll is that last one lol
  7. Kind of makes you wonder why on earth Stihl insist on machine handover when the dealers knowledge is so poor!
  8. Ouch Jonathan, I see your point but some projects require big logs. Have you still got that hollow elm or have you got rid mate?
  9. Cheers python, yes I like the look of that tree too mate, done with as harrycane power gouge.
  10. Thanks mate, yes it's a bit weird now you mention it 😊
  11. Busy building stock, trying new shapes.
  12. Thanks Andy, it's a diesel engine. I'll pass on the information, I take it yours starts on the ignition key then. They said it's always been a bugger to start so it may well be a dodgy battery 👍
  13. The yard I share have the above and Apparently it's always been a pig to start. They normally resort to jump starting it. The starter rope seems overly tensioned as it is ridiculously difficult to pull. Has anyone had a similar experience with this machine? Any ideas on what the problem could be? Cheers, Si
  14. The yard where I work from has a Japa and the only way they can start it is by jump starting. I'm not familiar with this machine but the pull cord seems excessively difficult to pull. Anyone got any ideas on likely problems? Anyone got user/maintenance manuals? Thanks, Simon
  15. Ripping chain has a cutter angle of 10° and leaves a much cleaner surface to your slabs. Rip cutting with a normal 30° chain will more likely leave a rippled, washboard effect in the slabbed face, creating more work later on.
  16. Anything under 40cc would make a good detailing saw, stihl - 171, 181, 201 Homeowner husky, echo 280, 360 Most carve with a 12" dime tip bar, 1/4 carving chain, pretty much all these saws and more can be switched over to a carving set-up. Having said all that, I have carved with my 066 😆
  17. I would have thought that if you have insurance/ public liability for your work then you are covered anyway. If you're using saws as part of your business you should already have your tickets and public liability
  18. That's a hole New customer base 😉😆
  19. Is there any warranty on combi cans? Surely this issue is not news to husqvarna
  20. My husky combi is about 4 months old and the fuel spout has been sticking for about 2 months. Either modern forecourt fuel has become much more corrosive to rubber or the rubber used is inferior.
  21. I think a die grinder would be way too fast for this
  22. Corded or cordless drill, I try and use the cordless mostly as I have a habit off wrapping the cord around the Chuck lol
