  1. Ah thanks mate, I've found lately I do a better job without having reference pics. Don't get me wrong they were useful for a time but I'm getting better results lately just carving intuitively. Feel the force Rick, they'll be great!
  2. I think they're the UK equivalent of bears in the states. They are deeply rooted in our folklore.
  3. If you decide to hold on to the 088 for the time being, I'd be interested in a couple of months if work goes to plan
  4. Thanks Dave, they're getting better😄
  5. Everyone wants owls at the minute, did this one today. Easy carve for a Friday, biggest problem was taking the fence panels out and back in again 😤
  6. Evocative piece Simon, beautifully executed
  7. Cheers Ian, nothing worse than being sprayed with rank water 😷
  8. Stinky pop with a sopping wet rot hole. Lots of wood preservative needed!
  9. Coming on nicely Russ. Front legs of the hare don't have much elbow definition but you probably know that😊 They've got character and that goes a long way 👍
  10. Thanks guys, I think I'll set the eyes deeper. They looked ok at the time but they've started to bug me 😄
  11. Carved this one yesterday 😊
  12. Does anyone stock these tape measures?
  13. Is there much gain in performance from a muffler mod on bigger saws? Is it just a simple swap for a dual port or would I need to drill out/remove baffle?
  14. You'll do just fine Ian 👍
  15. Nice piece Ian! Should have mass appeal, ideal for an auction.
  16. Haha brilliant! Thanks Steve👍
  17. Will do mate, just wondered if it was an uncommon size particular to stihl
  18. That might be them Harry, they are annoyingly tiny! Cheers
  19. Hi all, I've misplaced the torx driver and need to get another. Can someone please tell me what size it is, I've looked online but can't find any info. Cheers, Simon
  20. Like the landy, needs to be a wee bit longer though, kinda like postman Pat's 4x4 😉
  21. Got a captain caveman look to him 😊
  22. Thanks guys, I think it's actually lime lol. Customer said elm.
