I left school with no grades i was to busy being a delinquant and not working hard enough i always wanted to be a car mechanic whilst in a school and out but had years after trying to sort it but got distracted by getting into trouble with law but that stopped at 19 and found my love for tree work ok im not rolling in it but am very happy with my choice itl be ok bud

Il say i prefer not to simply for handling carabiners and other gizmos if i ever start my climb with them il get to about a quarter of the way up and just take them off and chuck down

For the breakfast nice health concious cup of tea an ciggy then bowl of crunchy nut and another ciggy and tea then lunch would be sandwiches from tecos with chocolate and lucozade then dinner what ever unhealthy food i may find writing this is really making me aware of some unhealthy choices i make wow just opened my own eyes

To make it quite short had a fair amount trouble during teen years in and out of trouble with the law and from that gained certs in landscape machinary and gardening seeked out a job after the trouble i got into settled in landscape gardening the boss was an arb and let me have a go at climbing and using the saw so through having the love for heights and climbing swinging just fell in love went to college and stuck with some poor tree jobs and through cack things have gotten better and met some great arb lads along the way top stuff

No mate afraid not yet had quite a bad turn out regarding missus leaving and so on so money is very short but will hopefully hitting it asap

Hey bud hope your well i would advise taking the training mainley because of the rescue side of it and plus u will pick up some awsome tricks and tips well worth it hope this helps

Very close on the list of kit add a few friction hitches and navaho harness i have one and i wouldnt suggest it try a seqiouia by petzl tree motion too expensive if just starting out tree climbing but all in all its up to you and as for enjoying arbtalk it is grear just ask those questions and jump in the conversation and talk to worcsswuss sure he is around your area and maybe able to help out :thumbup:have fun bud

Hello mate welcome to the forum if i could suggest one thing it would be find someone who rec climbs or climbs as an arborist so u can try different ranges of kit available and next stop would be an arb supplier to try on harnesses and to get expert advice about equipment watch youtube vids until your eyes turn red and get on as many reccys as u can so where are u based anyway bud have fun hope this helps
