  5. Hey dude Feeling your frustration as I am in quite a similar situation myself apart from a few years experience in arb from sub contracting here there and everywhere. Its difficult trying to reach out in the arb world as there are so many people willing to work for nothing just for experience and a possible foot in the door, but one thing I have noticed is the amount of knock backs so many training arbs get, but to be fair taking a bite out of that slice of humble pie really does help. Having been told by other arbs before there is a fine line between eager and pushy type into google-funding for training there opportunitys to get funded for nptc courses tickets really will help show your knowledge of te industry Best of luck mate Sent from my GT-I9205 using Arbtalk mobile app

My question being is there any employers looking for an eager, well mannered, loyal and strong groundsman who loves all aspects of tree work especially climbing. Im wanting a fresh start and guaranteed opportunity to further my career as a tree surgeon. I am 22 with plenty of references with various tree surgery and vegetation managment company's I have my own ppe, chainsaw and climbing kit. My tickets are cs30, strimmer and brushcutter, ped controlled mower and ride on mower I am looking to gain as many tickets as I can throughout my career. Unfortunately at this time I dont have a drivers license but am currently in the process of taking my final motorbike test but due to lack of funds had to postpone taking the final test. If somebody out there can advise or give me the opportunity to prove my worth in there company please dont hesitate to message me, if there is anything anybody feels I have left out please correct me Thanks for taking the time to read this

  13. I personally feel that information can be picked up anywhere from anybody, its only when that information is put to practise do we know if it works or not. When I first came on to arbtalk before starting a career in trees I had no idea about anything, arbtalk led me to jonsie show from there I met many many different faces which I then found out was on here, these people have gave me more knowledge about tree work, climbing, machinery and even business which I certainly didnt know 3 and half years ago So it all depends how pick through the opinions of others Best of luck mate
