Seems like the root plate had snapped out/rotted etc possible gammer derma? weve had quite a few over the last 8/months and have had to take them out

lol. if this issue thats been brought to light has only made you start to wonder.... the gov have been doing god knows how many years. I wont be signing, and the gov have already made there mind up. weather its for or against, itll still happen.

its a fair way from myself, however if theres anything i could do to help please pm me bud, being ex military and volunteering for the british legion to help our older boys out id like to do something. Also a massive weldone for everyone putting their name or kit forward.

Have you tried the srt with the seat ? Some of our older lads have changed to that and love it. But then its all down to you bud

If you can't get them in a washing machine, warm soapy water will do aswell as the above comments

I did 1 simular the drag was shorter and had 1other with me. 1 conifer of that size I charge 450.also skips are 2 expensive I'd find a local arb and rent a tipper and chipper in your area. Have a gdone whatever u choose

Prussic,fig 8,1 line system which then covers the blakes and bowline. Also tree I'd. Think I may have my 38 booklet if u want it pm me and ill scan and email. Good luck and take your time and think before you act

I agree with u get what u pay 4. But when I first started I got a little stihl 009, got it for £80,had a new carb,bar and chain from ebay. I took the risk and it paid off. Its still good and now teaching my boys the basics. I'd get a refund and have a look around at some older saws like stihl or husky, if you have the time and can do without the saw you received

Could you not use the other end of your line , or take up a 2nd rope with you hc to move around quicker? as i like to asend on my vt, but some time use a prussic at the other end or 2nd line. -
we use the ms 363 as a medium ground saw, and its great. that and a 261, 440 and the larger saws are kept back in the yard. The only problem we had with husky's was getting the spare parts. With stihl its much easier fairly cheap and interchangable parts from saw to saw

Germany is great, ive lived out there and served there also. From what i know about tree work, is that they mainly use mewp's. dont like to climb from the possible damage caused also i noticed they do minimal work to a tree as to keeping it natural as much as possible. Saying this, this may change from area to area. Id go back just for the experience, beer and night life. just dont used the 'lay-by-lil's' lol

im not to sure, however i know Altberg during my military days re-soled them cheap and quick. if you cant get haix to do it try them. you never know

Haix Pro's are great Ive got 2 pairs and swap over from 1 pair to the next each week. both are going strong and still in good working order after almost 3yrs

Thas very true, i completed my course 2/3yrs back and out of 18. 15 past, 8 gain 30,31,38,39 basic's and only 3 of us have got a full time job. I agree with the 1st post aswell. i was going to start my own company,however after looking around it was best to fight for a climbing role
