  1. id call them both with a letter sent aswell bud. that way the crew will be found out and get it from both side. from what you have said that went on, the way our dept works it would go straight for investigation and more than likely a final written warning or loss of job. Sent it in bud, lately theres been too many arbs on the news, and far too many tarnishing our good hard working names

  3. Go to a local market or ebay and have a long look around, i picked 1 up for £170/180 i think and it worth £k +. its more than what i use it for and only had to replace 1 part.

  5. you not tried cleaning with an air line. blow from inside out so that you dont force the dirt etc further into the filter.

  7. that may have been ref the councils, i guess depending on the size of the council A.O, with leicester we have are own dept and run throughout the year.

  9. ive never used a husky before, however my TL has and perfers the stihl tophandle but husky groundsaws

  12. rob, ive looked at them and open university. ive done the level 3 sub sid diploma do you have to go over the same information again or can you submit what uve already learnt and concentrate on the high end part of the course as i noticed its 3yrs online. cheers
  13. I was wondering where is best to study online, to complete and gain an BSc (Hons) in Arboriculture. Im thinking for the future and the possibility of moving abroad. What are your ideas or experience? thanks dan
  14. id be pissed if that happened to me. I work for a council and weve got a great boss and equipment( very much looked affter). As a basic rule of thumb, if you do one thing the council are ment to do one more. i.e if they was a fully working crew with upto date pratices this shouldnt of happened,also with the council being h&s mad/overboard id defo contact not just a line manager but the dept manager on this. also we only have the 1 trees and woodlands dept which then gets contracted out to other dept like highways schools etc. so id call trees and woodlands 1st bud

  20. lol, welcome and once again i have far more work in the winter than the summer.
  21. if a army bergen is to big try bugoutgear, ive got a couple and there still going strong. ive used them in afgan iraq etc,its held alsorts up and over 30kgs of gear. i would reconmend them highly
