  2. I've the same chipper same year just over a 1000 hrs on the clock, had 800hrs when i had it from orange plant just over a year ago. Service it every 100hrs oils etc, blades change every few weeks. Bearings went about a month ago and alloy fin went yesterday. I should of had fins done when bearings went. I look after all my kit as i cant stand being let down by things breaking on jobs. not sure if I'll go with wolfs again just because of the bearings and alloy fins, i also have the 150 dhb. will probably go Jensen or Forst next

I agree good thread Adam, I also rarely use a thrownline as I stick the ladder up, but wouldn't be without it as when its needed it saves so much time and effort and I always say I should use it more often but for some reason never do.   16. That sounds pretty poor to be honest, I think you should be on a minimum of £100 per day. When I first started I was on £85.00 grounding and £115 climbing and that was 8-9 years ago. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app

  20. Yep IC TREES is spot on. We've got a lad on with us at the moment, pay him £40 a day and he invoices us every week, and he usually meets us on site. He hasn't got any tickets but just drags brash cleans up etc. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app

  25. Think the weather has got us all down, coming home every night soaking wet trying to dry your kit ready for the next. But then I think about those poor farmers in Somerset who have lost soo much and are really struggling and it put things into perspective so I count myself lucky and carry on.
