  1. Ye I liked the fact that he was once terrified of hights but went on to say fear isn't real its all in your mind and you can get past it. Kinda shows anything is possible you just need to train your mind and you can do anything (I like that gives people hope.)
  2. Comes across as a spoilt little **** spent all night playing games then sleep all day get off your ass get a job then maybe you wont feel so depressed and will have earned yourself respect
  3. Made my feet feel funny!! watching him hang off the crane.
  4. Film about urban free climbing should be worth a watch.
  5. Only ever seen video's of her climbing never in person, I could do with a wife like her but then she'd show you up all the time.
  6. Jo hedger of Arbor Venture tree services has to be one of the top Arb girls
  7. Cheers for the input Reg, I saw you did the horizontal cut first in your video of the back leaning tree next to the house. Then on other trees the diagonal first so shows they both have their place.
  8. No trouble if he cant help let me know. As I know of a few more people. He's the closest to you though.
  9. Bigger the tree the easier.
  10. Phillip Jones in Ebbw-vale has 4x4 tractor and a new botex trailer 01495 302069.
  11. I always do the bottom cut then the diagonal one old school just because thats how my dad does it after a life time in forestry/tree surgery, I can even remember what I did on my assessment as it was so long ago, I know they teach the diagonal cut first so your gob lines up rite.
  12. Watching vids on youtube on big tree felling whist doing the sink cut some do the bottom cut then cut down diagonal to make the gob and others do the diagonal cut first then match up with the bottom cut is there a right or wrong way could you fail an assessment for doing the bottom cut first then the diagonal one. I was just wondering thats all.
  13. Had my last one for well over a year but she died from old age, this is my current one about 6 months old now
  14. Ye but if they had that much use for one they would buy one themselves.
  15. I wouldn't hire mine out, and I cant see there being much call hiring it out with a member of staff. Also you have an advantage over your competitors having yours being able to complete jobs quicker therefore beating them on price. Hiring it out will give them the same advantages as you.
  16. And mine, I only use my Grcs when the lifting ability is need but once it's set up on the tree all the rigging is carried out on the winch, where no lifting is needed it stays at home or in the truck and we use the stein bollard.
  17. Nice job Hodge, loving the rainbow shot
