  2. Yes but if he doesnt want to go down the operators license then 2 vehicles it is. IMO a 4x4 is a bit of a must in tree work
  3. Ill dig out the exact payload, Recently ive been using the canter to pull my ifor williams 3.5t trailer with cage sides for the chip as the train weight is 7t. The Hi-Lux pulls the chipper My Mog will be on the road soon though...!
  4. Im selling my Canter, still a 3.5t but its 150 bhp and carry's a load far far better than a transit and the main thing is that it gets you out of the "Transit Club". If you dont want to go down the operators license route then im afraid its either a 3.5t tipper or a Mog. Im going to a Mog but ive had my Canter running along side a Hi-Lux and its worked mint!
  5. I dont like mine either!
  6. This was Thursdays job, the customer has just had multi-fuel stoves installed at each end of the house, the chimney which is closest to the beech is not sucking as well as the other is. We were asked to thin the canopy and target prune away from the chimney to hopefully create some suction. Here are the before and after pics, ill apologise now for the different camera angles. Before: After:
