  1. Hi, id recommend pruning in August, prune it back at this time as hard as you like on one side but remember the harder back you prune it the less branchwood youll have to preduce new leaves in the spring. It will be bare until the spring but the other side will be in leaf and as beech hedges tend to hold onto their leaves over the dormant period you will hopefully not be too exposed. Good luck
  2. Cool, ill have a look
  3. Saw what on ebay? :thumbup1:confused1:
  4. Ive seen Oldmills, can you buy these or are do you have to get them fabricated?

  6. As im sure many of you know i've bought my firsts Mog, the only thing im having issues with is tool storage. I would like to here from you fellow Mog owner/operators and give me a bit of a heads up on where you keep your gear too and from jobs? I did here somewhere you can get a tool box that fits on the linkage, have any of you's come across such a thing, and if so where can I get my hands on one?

  16. Im in the same boat as I am 15 stone and it is a struggler to hold body weight without thrusting. Im with you on this one
  17. The old branches should have been retained and the new growth (vertical shoots) been removed, it is a mature fruit tree which will only be susceptible to light pruning. If it were mine id leave it for a year to recover from this pruning, once it has dropped its flowers next year I would remove the vertical shoots, with a bit of luck on your side it should recover. Im sure someone else will be along shortly to hopefully back this up. Regards
