  1. I am looking for info on which tree mapping software to buy, we currently just tag trees and do it the old fashioned way. Any help and advice with costs etc would be much appreciated Chris
  2. Never got it in the end mate, I was all set to go get her and the bloke rang saying it was not for sale anymore, bit odd as me and him had got on really well up to that point. I never did find out why he pulled the plug on the sale.

Hi guys, Im not wanting to pry to much into your personal life but I need your help: Recently I have found that getting someone to work for what I thought was a reasonable wage seems to very difficult these days. I can get a hot-shot freelance climber for £150 a day but what I am looking for is a good all round worker to carry out day to day jobs ranging from all tree work to all hedge work. We are based in the North East. What I am saying is that I need a good lad who is competent but not an ace if you know what I mean. What do you think is a reasonable rate of pay either per hour, per day or per week? Thanks for your help Chris

  13. Yes it is mate, Ive spoken with Campbell so ill be putting the funeral details on here for anyone who wants to attend. Post-mortem came back as unidentified cause of death so they wont release the body for another 7-10 days so they can run further tests.

  15. Just to let any of you who knew him, Steve Patterson AKA Mucka was found dead in his flat last Sunday morning aged 55 years. He worked at Jesmond Tree Surgeons in Newcastle upon Tyne for a number of years and then went on to work for me at Chris Gill tree Surgery Ltd. He was a legend and will always be remembered. RIP Mucka x

We are s small 3 man team operating with a new Mitsubishi Canter, Hilux, Timberwolf 190 etc... All tools and vehicles as of high standard.   17. lol quite sure! Tree is mature, looks in good health, leaves are slightly smaller than the 2 neighbouring trees.

  19. Hi guys, just been to look at 3 mature whitebeam and one of them has a some fungi at the base, very low down where the grass meets the stem. It is the size of a golf ball and black. Help please...? Cheers Chris
