  2. Me mate! I live 5 mins from darras hall Call me on 07824667456
  3. I do like that landy in that colour mind! Maybe it was juat that pickup that it looked a little odd on, but imagine getting up on a monday morning with a hangover and going into your yard only to be confrunted by an army of snot green trucks stairing back at you...... Hmmmmm still not for me
  4. I had my dog stolen years ago where they were in town! I cant stand those Sorry for the language
  5. Im gona be a bad apple and say its awful, not very professional IMO, but thats only MO. My trucks are all white cabs with orange backs, you might think thats awful, id stick to something not so garish if that makes sence. Tone it down a little as the only vehicles ive seen that colour are boy racers and thats not the image id want for my business. But...... Do what feels rite for you mate, good luck
  6. What a pisser mate, why cant people just leave whats not theirs alone! Makes me sick!!
  7. I have a hilux that i will be selling in a months time, Single cab White 2.4 turbo 4x4 Truckman top £1000! Brand new Micky Thompson M/T tyres on grey modular steel wheels £850! Full service history Tow pack 6 months tax 12 months mot Load liner Brand new road tyres on steel wheels 1999 £4500
  8. I thi k good advice would be to put as much money towards it as you can even if this means waiting another month or 2 till you have more money, its going to be your source of income so it needs to be reliable. It is also going to be a good advert for your business.
  9. Probably get a hilux for 2k, try the HPOC website
  10. If your wanting a 4x4 for 2K make sue you take a box with you to carry it home in! Seriously though mate, in my opinion youd be better off with a small van with a trailer. 4x4's are expensive to fix when they go wrong and if your budget is 2k it will either had a hard life or be old and in both cases will need money spending on it to keep it going. Yes they look the part but youd rather be on the road in a little van than in a layby with the bonnet up in a 4x4 Good luck what ever you go for matey
  11. Hmmmm good point Tom!!! Ill do it If your up north
  12. Keep up the good work and keep learning mate I look forward to seeing more pics from you in the future .......oh and welcome to the site!
  13. Get a freelance in to do it and just put some £ on top for you Jobs a good'n and youve got £££ in your sky-rocket!
  14. Get a mog and you wont be scared!
  15. Are those jeans?................. Come on now.............. You dont pull your caravan with your transit now do you??? If your not using a saw then Sip do some cracking workwear pants, bit of the £££ side but look the part. Jeans are a big no no mate
  16. I had the same problem, take it back to where you bought it and it'll get done under warrenty, i did and its like new.
  17. Or £400 if its raining
  18. Dont reduce them, if youve not been doing tree work long you probably wont make a great job of them (no offence meant), talk to the customer, ask what outcome they are expecting ie more light in the garden? Talk them into having them crown lifted and thinned but thin them lightly, ,dont go overboad as so many people do. Id charge £300
  19. Not a bad job for your first tree mate, although I think it would have looked better if you hadn't if thinned it out as much. Remember 3998, don't remove more than 33% in growing season. If it had been my job I think id have raised the crown and not reduced it in hight quite as much. Good job though fella and a big for being brave enough to post it on here!!
  20. Im finished for the day!! Had two jobs on and lashed them off before the rain came and had a surprise visit from South Cave Tractors which was nice
  21. Very true, im looking for bits to be added in the future, its like being a bloody kid again
  22. Perfect mate, cheers Huck - its not for safety its more for the look of the mog, personally i think it looks quite tidy with them fitted, cheers
  23. Pot size really depends on how big you want the trees to get, i would keep them in those pots and monitor their growth, if your wanting them bigger then re-pot into larger ones. Its a bit of a suck it and see if you excuse the term
  24. Hi Guys, Anyone know where I can get my hands on a roll cage for a U1600, ive seen one that fits outside the cab and looks the dogs... Come on Huck & Mr Blair dig deep.....
