  1. Yea and crap in a bag set it on fire on their doorstep, ring the bell and run away. That should give them some aromatherapy to think about lol. Seriously though do it by the book get a lawyer involved and get your cash plus expenses and you dont need to worry about it. Non payers need a boot where the sun dont shine and lawyers are good at it legally.
  2. Sorry mate it was asking for a laugh this thread lol:001_tongue: £2.50 per log? haha sorry that just makes me laugh every time, think i will go follow some horsies around with a shovel, bag and clothes peg. maybe spread some curry on the fields before just to get production up:thumbup:
  3. Nice one Andy i like your style:thumbup:
  4. Guess its funny for us then:001_rolleyes:
  5. maybe you could have in your advert "All kinds of logs supplied and i mean ALL kinds, come have a sniff around the yard and pick your favourite"
  6. haha sorry mate maybe i should put up a warning next time:thumbup:
  7. puts a new meaning to your name "log supplier"
  8. sad news, thoughts go out to his family
  9. Well thats me told:blushing: Fictional??? does that mean i wont get to run around caving skulls in with a baseball bat and chopping heads of out the side of my modified tank with an 088? man that sucketh, i was well prepared for it too:001_rolleyes:
  10. thats because there is a male presence, and females being the way they are, prefer making us suffer as often and for as long a time as possible, they will readily synchronise their ovulation to spread out evenly over the month so that just when you think its all over, it starts again at the beginning:thumbdown: I just made that all up but it sounds about right
  11. this is what i use, pole saw is silky zubat and the loppers are fiskars
  12. Laser super dooper height finder thingy, £650.... Climbing up and knocking the head out of it to be sure, priceless Never had the need for anything like that, not even a stick or a protractor on a string. scenario 1: "ok i think its going to land about here" quick look around for targets "ok knock it down theres plenty room" scenario 2: "ok i think its going to land about here" quick look around for targets "going to be a bit close to this, take a few meters off it first and knock it down" scenario 3: "ok i got my laser thingy and it says it will land exactly here, knock it down it will fit" "i cant you spent all the cash on the stupid laser thingy and never bought a saw" I guess your laser thingy could be great for certain things but to me its pretty useless for cutting down trees, will it for example tell you the bounce factor? you can be as precise as you can but there is still bounce, rolling and bits breaking off and flying through the window of that bently. Cool tool but not for me:thumbup1:
  13. I am a bit of a hippy for these things too and feel bad when i cut trees (strange i know). I also see the point that its going to be cut no matter whether i do it or someone else, so i would rather it was me because i have the respect for nature that i feel is lacking in a lot of people. We have to live together with trees and everything living for that matter, but sometimes there just isnt room for everything in the same place and the strongest (or smartest) survives, as nature intended. So it is the natural way of things and thats what keeps me sane to think that way
  14. Same as i do in the summer except i dont sweat so much and there is no leaves to tidy up so generally its much better in winter. Also its better in most cases with trees to trim in the winter so what the question should be is "what do you do in the summer?" i go on holiday and generally laze around enjoying the long days and sun (sometimes) oh yea and i work with trees and ropes and chainsaws:001_rolleyes:
  15. Try clark forest, good prices and fast next day delivery:thumbup1:
  16. cool i like the beard option, i must be great:lol:
  17. now were talkin Coffee of champions that:thumbup:
  18. what felix said
  19. That does seem a bit extreme for buying a helmet. If its just firewood you are doing why not just get ear muffs and safety glasses? you dont need a helmet if there is no chance of falling objects.
  20. Cracking thread this one David Dont know how i missed it before now...
  21. oh yea i forgot about this thread.... the imori rocks

  23. ok looks like its sorted now, i hope:confused1: i am real bad with technology and never know if i did something right or not, gimmie a tree any day:thumbup1:
