  1. got my coffee addiction while i was living in Rome and now i cant get out the house till i have had my expresso. The coffee here in britain is rubbish and nobody knows how to do an expresso properly, and the foam on a cappucino??? what the hell is that all about? I think anyone selling coffee as a beverage should be sent to Italy to find out how its supposed to be done before serving the crap we get here. Learn your trade coffee shops like everyone else has to... wow that turned into a rant:001_huh: must need a coffee:001_rolleyes:
  2. :lol:the funniest bit was the lack of denials there:lol: and yea Gerrit pot and kettle i cant deny either
  3. Nice one David
  4. Here is your typical farmland tree food:sneaky2:
  5. Broken wire maybe?
  6. What Gerrit means is go back in a day or 2 and get more pics, pick it and get photos of the underside as well then post it here again. Maybe a photo or 2 of the tree might help as well. The more photographic evidence you have, the easier it is for the fungi nutters to identify it and give you an accurate description of whats going on:thumbup: Sorry for the fungi nutters comment but you are all crazy
  7. yea you hardly ever hear of an american cutting themselves with a saw, cos they are all like superman with skin of steel:001_rolleyes:
  8. yea wire is the norm on farmland trees
  9. Nice tidy job:thumbup1:
  10. I need to brush up on my technical terms Just thinking that the husky strimmers i have used had the locking hole on the top side of the head, so the opposite side from your photo. Hope you get it sorted
  11. not the silver part, if you look at where the shaft goes its like 3 different sized disks, The outer one being the one i can see a hole in the picture. if you stick a slim screwdriver through that hole from the outside then spin the head till you find the other hole on one of the other disk shaped parts. If thats not it then i dont know.
  12. yes but the locking is done inside the head with the pin or thin screwdriver. Is there no hole on the side of the inner head at all?
  13. is the hole i see in the picture on the black disk thing (insert technical term:blushing:) not the outer hole? so then there will be another that will line up with it to lock the head....
  14. so given the choice you would buy a new 200t instead of the 201?

  21. Sad stuff, I hope whoever it is gives himself up or gets caught.
  22. You call that basic! I would love to have half your talent and half the talent Dave has as well
  23. you could tie your own using some 5mm cord or something similar with a monkey fist Ropers Knot Page - The Frequently Asked Knots
  24. I think what i am doing is the best option if you dont want to splash out all the cash at the first post. Freelancing is the way to start with nothing and build it up from there. I am doing it because i dont know if i will be here any more than 1 more year and i dont want to waste all that cash to just move again but it seems the best option to me if you want to start with nothing.
  25. do you have qualifications? what are you wanting to start up? a tree surgery business? do you have any idea how much vans, chippers, saws and all the other equipment costs? insurance? unless you already have a nice stack of cash then you will need to be nice to the banks anyway.
