  1. Not his I reckon. His has got three sets of pins, not four. Also it's in the wrong county. And his eBay name is .... Elfinwood, this guys is david summink. Few more clues, but fairly sure it isn't his.
  2. Liquid cooled, single cylinder, ipl appears to show (on little phone screen..) a sequential gearbox? I'd call it a quad bike.
  3. I like it, good effort. There's a few things differently on mine though. Don't have any pictures, I'll try and get some soon(ish). I've two bits of angle iron, about 40cm long as the "guides". With two square tubes across. My saw is held by just one bolt, through the bar. I felt it would make for easier and more accurate depth of cut adjustment. (But I think I'll change that)
  4. Poor sucker! That'll never take off.
  5. I've not got much experience with the tool-less ones, seems a little over-complicated. But... There's nothing to suggest they'd be any worse or better than the tool-using apes' equivalent? Or is there?
  6. I don't take any vitamin supplements, bit I do have a dirty great big ginger 'tache and straggly ginger beard to match. I've only been stung once this year. A strange thing I noticed: I was shearing in a big shed with no walls on two sides, and never did I see one. As soon as I'd walk outside there'd be a squadron of them waiting for me?
  7. One could argue that there is no such thing as "an overgrown tree"... Surely as tenants you'll not need to worry about damage to the house? And a suggested solution, try and negotiate some hyper efficient LED bulbs, they'll take the edge of your energy bill.
  8. If neither of your parents have a beard, you've got two mums!
  9. If at first you don't succeed... Skydiving is not for you!
  10. The boots or the review?
  11. Plus a shiny metal bar, with the paint worn off will reflect more sunlight, further enhancing the cooling!
  12. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is; you're stupid and you've made a bad decision.
  13. Using your own name is fine. It's customer care, pricing and quality of work that give that name a meaning. Eddie stobart. Bernard Matthews etc are normal names everybody knows.
  14. Definitely !
  15. Paint is heavy, so less paint is lighter. Then there's the thickness of the paint, adding drag and unnecessary bulk. All these useless colour schemes slow you down!
  16. Bars without paint are thinner, lighter, faster!
  17. Education is important, But big biceps are importanter!
  18. Lots of things were done before...
  19. As full as a bishops ball bag.
  20. Achteraf kun je een koe in de kont kijken. Which translates as: With hindsight you can look up a cow's arse.
  21. I'm not familiar with the design of that particular saw, but air bubbles is not normally what you're after...
  22. Nothing in itself, but it's the cost in other things than money that is often overlooked for financial gain. Even if the cost is enormous and the financial gain relatively small and just received by very few.
  23. I never lend out anything I can't afford to lose.
  24. I completely agree! Only last week a contractor that did some work for me was using one of those portable telephones! I obviously gave him an earful and told him to stop wasting MY time, his customers can phone his landline and leave a message (presuming said contractor has such a machine) then the next working day (would have been 3 days later) he could have phoned the customer back to secure his job. Unless obviously said customer was not in at that time, in which case he'd have to try again a day later. (Or maybe he could ask the operator if she knows when he'll be back...) On a side note, somebody left a message with my secretary last week asking me to "pop them an email" Anyone know what on earth that means?
  25. Looks like there's a part missing on your tensioner. There is normally a nut with a sticky up pawl that fits in the hole in the bar.
