  1. I saw the "stacked" branches and thought it likely the top one failed and took the lower ones off on its way down.
  2. That link takes me to "surprise" Arbtalks very first thread? I agree about the look of that bent bit of cab though... Maybe a "borrowed" picture?
  3. All of this members' posts are identical slander, I've reported it.
  4. I don't really see the problem? You did a job, to her spec. Because of her spec you got a follow on job replacing one slab. (For which I assume you charged royally, I would have...) Again because of her spec you got yet another follow on job! I presume you treated a test area with this sealer to show her how hideous it would look when finished? ( not your workmanship, the horrible plastic look stuff gets with these products) If she's still not happy (and from what I read its not your workmanship she's unhappy with, but the materials she chose) I'd suggest ripping the lot up again and putting some real stone slabs in. Then you'll have earned once to put it in, once again to replace one slab, then some more to seal it, and now you have an opportunity to earn the big cake again! Some people, they complain too much...
  5. I use my milling saw with brake (can't see how it can get in anyone's way?) but without felling spikes....
  6. The seller appears legit? Though there's no feedback as a seller, nearly all of their purchases appear chainsaw related (GHS, chains direct, tesgol, etc). Dunno though.
  7. Not his I reckon. His has got three sets of pins, not four. Also it's in the wrong county. And his eBay name is .... Elfinwood, this guys is david summink. Few more clues, but fairly sure it isn't his.
  8. Liquid cooled, single cylinder, ipl appears to show (on little phone screen..) a sequential gearbox? I'd call it a quad bike.
  9. I like it, good effort. There's a few things differently on mine though. Don't have any pictures, I'll try and get some soon(ish). I've two bits of angle iron, about 40cm long as the "guides". With two square tubes across. My saw is held by just one bolt, through the bar. I felt it would make for easier and more accurate depth of cut adjustment. (But I think I'll change that)
  10. Poor sucker! That'll never take off.
  11. I've not got much experience with the tool-less ones, seems a little over-complicated. But... There's nothing to suggest they'd be any worse or better than the tool-using apes' equivalent? Or is there?
  12. I don't take any vitamin supplements, bit I do have a dirty great big ginger 'tache and straggly ginger beard to match. I've only been stung once this year. A strange thing I noticed: I was shearing in a big shed with no walls on two sides, and never did I see one. As soon as I'd walk outside there'd be a squadron of them waiting for me?
  13. One could argue that there is no such thing as "an overgrown tree"... Surely as tenants you'll not need to worry about damage to the house? And a suggested solution, try and negotiate some hyper efficient LED bulbs, they'll take the edge of your energy bill.
  14. If neither of your parents have a beard, you've got two mums!
  15. If at first you don't succeed... Skydiving is not for you!
  16. The boots or the review?
  17. Plus a shiny metal bar, with the paint worn off will reflect more sunlight, further enhancing the cooling!
  18. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is; you're stupid and you've made a bad decision.
  19. Using your own name is fine. It's customer care, pricing and quality of work that give that name a meaning. Eddie stobart. Bernard Matthews etc are normal names everybody knows.
  20. Definitely !
  21. Paint is heavy, so less paint is lighter. Then there's the thickness of the paint, adding drag and unnecessary bulk. All these useless colour schemes slow you down!
  22. Bars without paint are thinner, lighter, faster!
  23. Education is important, But big biceps are importanter!
  24. Lots of things were done before...
