  1. They used Perkins as well right from the old P6. But like most old timber tractors any engine that fitted went in. My old boss had a Bedford QL that had a Bmc 6 cylinder in.
  2. Would always use my climbing harness, as once got stuck in a Mewp and no one on the ground could sort out problem, So landed up coming down on rope once I changed for full harness to climbing, and as said how many have found it easier to climb out.

  15. When ever a question like this comes up, people always ask what tyres you running, lot cheaper to change tyres then invest in truck to get off grass verge.

  19. Spray off any vegetation before doing anything. Brake up ground if compacted or just do to give plant a better start.

  22. There is a couple of them on the market that are legal to move on trailer behind pickup and still have a good lift capacity.
  23. If it was signed and car still parked, you should of just dragged it out of way.
  24. Eve trackway is probably the best company to ask, see there truck every were.
  25. Had to travel across some council ground about 3 years ago and had to get permission and it was granted with conditions, all vehicles tyres had to be disinfected when arriving and departing. Nothing about footwear or tools.
