  1. Christ £1000. Did a job a couple of months ago with traffic management controlling traffic with 2 way lights on A120 in Essex so all had to go through Highways England, after hours so 20.00 to 5.00 all in £550.
  2. Run a ifor trailer with 195/50-13, have nankang tyres fitted have problems with small stones puncturing them right through edge of tread making them un repairable, anyone recommend better make of tyres.
  3. I am think its not domestic customer if street lights have got to be cut around. Can you not just work between two trucks with beacons on always go on near me by utility companies.
  4. All traffic management I have used never do site visit always street view it and take through what I need from them. Surely spec for quote will state what traffic management is needed.
  5. As said 12v portable winch is heavy and limited to how many pulls before battery go's flat. Winch on truck is best if truck is stuck but you still need something to anchor it to, i have pulled lots of root out in back garden with truck mounted winch with the aid of snatch blocks to change direction of pull. Some with just straight pull

    That's a very good price, was that a recent quote,there Internet price is just over £50 + vat.
  17. They were well looked after trees for years then let to go, and someone went in to them to hard. I know were they are but I didn't cut them, when I first saw them thought next set was digger in and out with roots.
  18. Will need some new boot soon as well anyone tried Treemme Aquastop Pro looks a good strong boot. Wear Haix protector pro but its a heavy boot.

    Bought mine from McVeigh and parker was the cheaper that Mole valley but i buy a lot of fencing stuff off them and rang up for price and was cheaper than internet price. Sam Turner and son are about the cheapest now but delivery may not be to your area or cost to much.

    It's great stuff will never waste money on ply for ground protection. We run everything on it in gardens, small loader, digger, trucks and tractor. Even used it hedge planting when trench had to be dug drag excess soil on them to were trailer was then loaded it.
  22. Stuck rack maybe, this may help not the same engine but may shed some more light on it.   23. Black smoke is lack of air, would check air cleaner. But that's not why it is not fuel, could be multiple of things add together. Would check ignition switch as well.
  24. aluminium plate over the top then it will protect it next time.
