  1. So we are talking a 5m high tree, even a 8ft stake is not enough, would consider under ground anchor system. Or 3 guy wire system.
  2. Not much good at weekend, have got a good agri fitter I know will probably ring him tomorrow, I quizzed him a couple of weeks ago about something, if he knows what it is will have to buy him a few beers.
  3. So. Everything is clean, fuel pump primes up first part by hand then turn it over and it self bleeds. Ran it up road and still same, next was air cleaner, clean. So sitting having lunch thinking, this has all arised after I remove immobiliser, so next is check power to stop solenoid,
  4. The Jimmy is a little motor for little money
  5. The little Jimmy is a great truck, my mate bought one a couple of years ago to use as deer stalking vehicle. Rust is a problem, also vacuum to lock front drive hubs.
  6. Found this at the base of Oak.
  7. Will do more checks in day light. Once I had undo drain and gurgling happened, ran it up road and seamed OK, but will give it more of a run.
  8. Nothing came out just heard gurgling.
  9. Used tractor this afternoon and just wouldn't pull after a while, limped it home at 20kph with foot flat on floor. Open drain on first filter housing and could hear gurgling. Me thinking lift pump fault, or anyone get another idea. Filter is only a year old.
  10. The best thing is customer is clearing up.
  11. Back on the conifer hedge from hell. Got given a Husqvarna 345 by a customer how has moved to a smaller house and no need for saw, very inpressed with it. Put a old 18" bar on it for a bit more reach. I love the tooless chain tensioner, 100% better then Stihl.
  12. Is pump just running slow or normal speed, There is a valve that makes them drop slow, some people remove it to make body drop quicker. No idea if it's powered, so when tipping it opens. Could just be bad earth.
  13. It's not all about power, it's the construction of the machine you are putting mulching blade on if bearings are not up to it you will soon find out
  14. I have driven a jx95 best thing was when I got off it, gearbox is one of the clonkest I have used.
  15. Everything that had signs of loctite has been.
  16. If that picture relates to accident, there's no cones or signs, if there was machine should be kept in that zone. If operator had the correct training it shouldn't of happened, if he was trained he should be fined as well.
  17. The bearings were easy to get off, it was the key in keyway that didn’t want to play ball. Had to weld lump of steel to it get it out.
  18. So have got it apart do I need to put anything on aluminium fins were they bolt to steel.
  19. I think most ambulances uprated to 4.2t to take all the weight.
  20. Some times that's the only way to get a result, face to face and get to talk to the person you need to.
  21. I've worked on a lot of old machines in the passed, and found bearings stuck on managed to get them off in the end. Have cut them at 12 3 6 9 o'clock not right though a hammered them to brake, welder is another tool I have used to get heat just on bearing.
  22. So 150 has a rumple and today a ticking noise coming from rotor housing, me thinking time to change bearings, when ordering part will I need to replace shafts. And do you need a hydraulic press to put bearings in.
