  1. 3pl cranes do work well if they are set up on arms right, but not the same as roof mounted. I bought a 3pl crane 2 years ago best investment I have made as now have made a trailer it fits on.
  2. Through a rope around top pull the top over and cut bits off.
  3. When I start on my own did a bit of strimming for some customers, lead to a lot of tree-work. But I turned down a grass cutting job 4 years ago when I was asked by a new customer looking at work to do, what I did not know was he owned 25 house that need grass cut. Never mind
  4. Just to far away. There's a garden centre near me that may have taken it for his bio mass boiler, may be worth a try near you.

Back on subject, the NFU have always been happy with anything we have done to the trucks, and have been happy to insure a modded defender that absolutely no one else would touch, but it will be interesting to see if they are happy about my latest performance mods when I tell them. Very intresting I tried them for a 130 got so complicated with how had built it and all mods, they them said no. So went with Adrian Flux no problem just told me to send photo.

  15. Got back lunch time today to find a ordered item left on door step could not believe what I saw box big enough to hold a pair of boots. All there was inside was a drive belt. Anyone had the same.

  18. A couple of weeks ago someone posted a thread on Sugru mouldable glue maybe you could strip back and solder new bit on end then mould glue around join. Just a thought.
  19. For tree work you are joking the most cramped driving seat you could sit in.
