1. this year it's got to be £105 delivered per cube hardwood.
2. I looked into getting one a few years ago, it was the diesal one but I was warned away from them which was annoying. Love the look and comfort and supposedly brilliant for towing.
3. I'm just praying we get a really cold ( but dry) winter. Customers are starting to pre book their logs for September which is good, but sales were way down last year.
4. we both work but as i'm self employed and my wife only gets limited holiday i have to look after the kids for best part of 6 weeks. can squeeze work in here and there but its a tough few months!!
5. Be interested to know how you get on. The sap in the wood especially soft wood sticks to the teeth, if anyone knows a remedy to this I'd be very grateful as I think this is what slows if down on the larger diameter stuff.

Hi Calum,

How much do you want for the road tow? Thanks

7. I've got the petrol Balfour. Great on seasoned wood and green wood that's under 6 inch but have to admit disappointed on the bigger diameter stuff, struggles.
8. Try Winner plant hire 01483 456789. ( that really is the number!)
9. Looks like it would last 5 minutes. Ok for a DIY log splitter, but that's about it
10. Positive
11. I'll test the mc in 3 months and let you know. It's stored in an open sided barn with lots of through wind.

Ash

Split a stack of ash today, put it in a separate pile in the barn. What do you reckon, 6 months then it's good enough to sell without any comeback, or do you guys season longer?
13. I've mixed a load of it with beech, currently drying in the barn. Heavy but really nice to split, lovely clean wood.
14. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Green Plant, and both Rosemary and Danny are so helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent company.
15. How big a box and what dehumidifier would you buy? Thanks
16. Keen to watch this thread. I'm after something that will hold up to 5 cube and dry to 20% in a week or two.
17. Likewise? What's the big deal?
18. Cheers for that. I use a splitter and saw bench so will stick to that I think. Simple, low maintenance etc. Good luck in the future.
19. What would be your 3 top tips to any new firewood merchant? You obviously have a massive amount of experience.
20. And the colour change? Is there a reason for that?
21. Was convinced this Rhodo was going to be red, but low and behold it isn't. Can anyone tell me what the red parts are called and why the red colour?
22. Don't suppose you've got a picture of that setup?
23. Don't you think you should identify it before you do anything?
