not something id normally consider but have heard fuel wise they're better than most other pickups and can pick em up cheap wouldn't be used for major off roading or anything just general pickup duties , whats peoples experience with them? talking circa 2000 models, any difference in having ford or mazda badge? anything to look for?

ive just bought one, 04 plate cdti done 500 miles so far think it needs a new fuel filter other than that seems ok so far, also has the bonus of rear seats which fold completely flat so best of both car/van also cheap on tax which is why I didn't go for the older Isuzu engined one -
