  2. for the size o them ive found em a bit gutless and had quite a bit of trouble with the chain tensioners, 880 has ok power but its a heavy old bugger
  3. how come this is ruffling everyone's feathers so bad? so what if someone wants to brighten up a tired looking saw? if yer van was looking tatty ye 'd paint that up wouldn't you?

  5. Edinburgh council, at Inch park not sure when yet but wont be far away, most stuff is between 8-10' long but some of the bigger stuff is shorter because we were struggling to handle it but im sure there may be some bits of interest
  6. there will be a sale soon of elm saw logs at the council, im sure there's a coupla bits that may be big enough

  8. aye migs what you want for thin stuff, built a trike frame with a £30 arc welder before ok for small jobs but they do tend to trip a lot when they get hot on bigger jobs

  15. crackin pic looks like some of the loads in the books ive been reading recently by Maurice H Sanders , now theres some proper overloading! well worth a look maurice h sanders | eBay
  16. bit like saying series landrovers aren't slow mines got a 4.7 v8 in it! although yes the mk2 l200 is better than the new ones certainly they really are awfull!
  17. had a look at the one at the APF looked ok plenty roomy inside wouldn't mind a trial of it off road though, was a bit miffed we never got to take mr Blairs Iveco for a play when we had it for trial, most we got to do was drive it back and forward onto a weighbridge!

  20. l200 is rubbish id go Isuzu for a start there a hell o a better looking
  21. argocat? good for soft ground they even float if its really wet
