YOUR NOT ON YOUR OWN i won a stihl chainsaw on ebay and never give it a thought untill i learned some saws are built in germany and some in the usa based on the serial number. on checking mine it has non on it all and have had it over 13 months it plays heavy on my mind all the time as i should of checked it when i recieved it etc but was more wanting to use it etc . To be honest the old guy i got it off seemed very decent and trusted him as its ebay etc not the back of a lorry etc make me feel gutted to be honesti wont ever get caught out again though

  3. pump shaft sheared internal or relief valve stuck open blob of slag from weldin pipe causing flow return etc
  4. Caldo semi synthetic £23 5 ltrs or caldo fully synthetic £32 5 ltrs as there on my doorstep
  5. i,ve tried it in my coalbrook severn no probbs at all but only when its running hot just loads of mess etc i would say bag it first lobit it on n shut door all done no mess

I still have all my tackle thats never been used since my breakdown but even as i type this about going my guts start to churn etc as though i,am scared of fishing lol i just like my own space at the moment just me and my little dog kia but live in hope to get better as M.I.N.D is going to give me help and support i just hope they dont mind me keep farting all the time my doctor tells me its my nerves lol but i know its my arse thats making the noises

LURKING LOL THANKS FOR ASKING I,AM STILL ALIVE N KICKING HAVE MY GOOD DAYS N BAD DAYS but had an apointment with MIND as my quack tells me iam socialy violant and agraphobic but reasures me i,am not nuts lol i just need time to restructure my life again as i,ve no direction or motivation yet I get overwelmed with too many people bothering me at times i could pull arms n legs off,em as i get so angry at times then when everyones left me alone i just break my heart for no reason which leaves me very confused as to why this happens but i,ve started to sleep now longer about 4/5 hrs a night but have really mad dreams lol but getting there slowly >>>>>>>>i just hope i dont relapse into doom n gloom again i,ve also tried going out to bootsales but just cant bring myself to walk around the place lol supermarkets /shops are a no no i get very woundup with all the hassle people blocking the place up talking shite etc

HELLO AGAIN EVERYONE i,ve been mullng over in my head etc the advantage of fully synthetic 2 stroke oil as if it would be the differance of longevity & semi seize or not seize if i had been using semi 2 stroke at £22 for 5lts or £32 for full synthetic as i,am lucky to have a oil refinery on my doorstep so have a choice of many oils to choose etc as they blend all there own oils and have done so for years caldo oils st helens whats your views please as i can pass this knowlage onto my good friend sean who makes his living same as you boys on here etc"" and has an amoury of saws strimmers etc etc so lots of 2 stroke oil used etc ps i will see if they do semi syn chain oil too but not sure if its option and its pro,s n cons costs etc but after this post i just maybe trying to fix somthing that aint broke etc but would like to here and take your advice as i said mulling it over as its used in high stressed motocross bikes being revved flat out red hot etc etc

  11. my friend had a small old husky and the carb was playing up bad starting etc and set about it after throwing it down the garden with the throttle stuck wide open it landed blade first and dugitself into his lawn at full revs then set about it with a lump hammer after he had finished huffing and puffing etc and bits of chainsaw across the lawn he remarked how better and de stressed and added the saw is fixed for good and wont ever have to fix it again lol
  12. tfr or truck wash is caustic and will do a veryfine job of the fuel system

  15. sorry i missed the bit about showing its teeth etc i had too re train my dog by pretending to eat first out the bowl then let the dog have its fill last iknow dont laugh but it worked for me & even down to me going through the door first etc the dog will wise up quick

  17. had my dog kai done and never looked back he,s calmed right down for me and more faithful than ever" he even walks at heal now too inc stopped his wondering ways even the driveway gate open he just sits at the gate watching the world go by my freind had a patterdale male dog and that roamed dug out under fences etc never came back but has now got a bitch patterdale she goes hunting around but comes back home
  18. true but its awkward to be honest as he,s a neighbour etc but i will live n learn as it was just sat unused in his shed would,nt start etc so told me to see if i could get it running i could have it so got it running and bought the jetfit head etc never mind i got my own now i just hope its a good,un echo not sthil etc as i only use it to help the oaps around me and it gets me out when the mood takes me as i like to help others its my nature as i,ve a big heart but get used at times me think,s
  19. thanks rob only just seen this post your too kind thanks but bugger me i,ve been had"" lol .I got the stihl running nice etc and he,s took it back now after me buying the jetfit head n a roll of 4mm flexyblade so i,ve gone and bought a echo srm4000 from ebay its left me broke"" but got my own brushcutter now i just cant find the fitting kit for the echo srm4000 to retro fit the jetfit head as thats cost me all on £40 with the spare roll of flexyblade n postage etc the echo has a square drive can this be removed soi can fit the jetfit head any advice would be very greatfully recieved
  20. thanks guss i had to chuckle after watching it etc i thought it was about carb tuning etc i,ve not laughed like that in a while as the bloke was very calm doing the video at least he wont have anymore problems with it in future

  24. 20ltrs of fuel a day thats some sawing no wonder the saws get replaced every year mine should last a lifetime then lol i will have to get my will sorted so i can pass my hardly used saw on to the kin
  25. Who has had a saw from new etc used it on a regular basis and how long you had it in its unmolested state out the box from new what i mean is not triggers brush . I would like to know the life span of a chainsaw ?? as mine is a fleebay special 5 years old but only gets used once of twice a month for a few hrs or fired up n put back on shelf so should last me a while just being nosey about saw lifespans as we had a sach dolmar petrol wizzer for years at work new out the box till it was nicked one night
