  1. best saw for my logs so far is my trusty ms260 just plods along does all i ask of it for my logburner i had a o38 that was very juicy on fuel and a ms250 it worked ok but just not for me somehow i prefer to plod my saw 1/2 to 3/4 revs i just sqeeze the trigger enough to cut hate all that speed and noise for nowt but still drool over chainsaws when i see one if i had the money i would buy,em all ???? feel the love baby lol,I know understand why a bloke can never have too many chain saws its a bug for me i need help"""
  2. my neighbour john has the same thoughts as you" wood grows out the floor and when dried out next year it burns lol and he loves conifer as i do just mix it in with the rest for my fire toasty i,am sat here @ 29.3*c dog asleep next to me as i type nice

  6. how bigs your room and why have a flue pipe as that could cause problems my good friend had lots of trouble keeping fire going no draw etc and he found out that the flue pipe had been re used from when it had a gas fire fitted etc and all the flyash had settled in the flue pipe as it was routed from fire and then was sitting at 90 degrees in the chimney causing ash to settle in the flue liner he just ripped the liner out as the chimney was in good health ps he had a massive draw afterwards lovley warm fire now for last 2 years hope you get it sorted soon and you will good luck

  9. you could also register it for tacho exempt if it only gets used in same area doing same job etc and as its classed as a fixed load i,e mewp and not for any other use it may be mot exempt but not sure about o licence as its being used for hire reward and white diesel for road use

  12. butler i have suffered from the same thing as you my weights all over the place you have to stop and i mean stop eating carbs> spuds pasta rice bread sugar fizzy pop sweets etc but eat salads fruit fish meat etc asi lost 8.6 stone and your energy will zoom and you will start to feel better in your own wellbeing and start to do more anyway the only problem i have is confidence that affects my motivation in a big way and stops me from contact with the outside world etc so i got myself a hobby i fixup old valve radios as it make me feel useful to get and old radio working again when i cant sleep i just go in my shed and potter about doing nothin most of the time and if you want to cry just do it as i do very very regular on my own i get really down good luck anyway you will get better again one day just hang on to the positives stop being negative and things will pick up i promise but its uphill all the way and just by talking openly on here helped me out there a good bunch of lads

It,s just on the QUEST channel now there even doing a tutorial on tree trimming etc even got someone from a lanscaping company saying how good it is" have any of you pro,s got one yet its the future like garlic bread i wonder if theres a petrol version to replace my stihl . AT £150 i bet they will sell though to home owners etc any woman can use it too" so bugger me i will have to get a woman now too that will cost me a fortune sod that i,am sticking with my 260 .
  14. i,ve just ordered one but dropped a clanger as i,ve paid £63 did,nt read the post propper £45:confused1: forgot to order some stones too" silly me impulse buying again:blushing::blushing:trying to keep up with the big boys but as i only chomp up wood for my burner i get all matter of metals n stone in my firewood even had a drainpipe in piece once nails brackets etc so will come in handy as i can run it off my jeep battery @ my plot

  17. thats the one but the picture is old its pushed the fence out now and looks a bit forlorn these days as though its ready to explode with the load on it i would,nt like it on my car roof etc looks dodgy nowerdays
  18. as i know nothing about trees etc this tree has what i think has pushed the fence out now and where the fork is it looks very erm" rotten/starting to rupture etc the bark has got marking on it as though its ready to explode with the weight like i said i know nothing about trees but worried it could let go anytime and block the road etc or am i worrying about nothing etc the tree is on google earth but the picture on there is old/dated etc its a lot worse now >> simms avenue st helens sorry dont know how to set a link up of the picture up its at the top end on the right side green railings
  19. has your logburner got a ashtray/pan at the rear of the fire just below the flue pipe where it comes out the fire it may need cleaning out as my fire has one looks like a biscuit tin size at the base of the flue pipe at the rear of your fire

    i had a 038avs very very juicy compared to my old ms250 all in my past lol big ideas i,am a lumber jackn i,am ok work all night and dress in wimmins clothing waffling again lol sold it on ebay as i couldnt afford to run it lol far far to big for cutting logs for the fire etc

IS THERE ANYONE CAN POINT ME TO LOCATE A AIRFILTER PLEASE i won this hedge clipper recently from ebay spares repair bad starting etc on checking it over found the airfilter is missing i,ve tried googling the model Echo HCR-171ES and end up in the U.S.A mostly but really could do with somewere local for parts as i will be only using it to help the pensioners residents near me and do not accept any payment from them etc just a cuppa and a natter does me as i like to help people out its just my nature as a thankyou goes a long way for me so i,am hoping to repair it myself to keep the cost down and hopfully be able to use the hedge trimmers to help my elderly friends out as there trust has grown for me etc and also keeps the tree gypsys at bay etc as there easly shaken by the mithering door knockers etc
