  1. It is April 1st you know! easy-lift guy
  2. Since we have a year round growing season here I say we put our tools thru Twice as much wear, tear as yins do. It also depends on how well you take care of your tools as well. Just visiting the US site for Corona, the BP 7100 looks to be a good choice and @ $35.00 priced is good as well. I still use my model 60 from 20+ years ago except the cost than was $12.95:sneaky2:. Good hunting. easy-lift guy
  3. Regrettably jammy I believe your purchase falls under the class of planned marketing and obsolescence . It seems that I see this at many trade show here in the States every year. If I see the same make and model of a hand tool for more than 2 years in a row, I am lucky. Seems that the dealers over here don't like to show the time and tested models as much as the new fangled models that are new, and that's about it:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  4. With a proper case and a bit of common sense you should have no problems. There are many cases on the market, I use the Otterbox and it suits my needs well, Skull candy ear bus work well and are comfortable as well. easy-lift guy
  5. This week Blackberry announced it will be dropping out of the consumer end of the smart phone business here in the States, translation we surrender and what are your terms! I also heard that 1/2 of all households now own,use Apple products in the USA as well. You could continue to use Blackberry products, however I believe they have lost their competive edge some time ago, and will not catch up with Apple, IMO . Good hunting. easy-lift guy
  6. I have used both Felco and Corona, like Corona since they hold up better and don't gum up as much as the Felco brand. Corona or nothing at all. easy-lift guy
  7. May God rest his soul and comfort his family at this very hard time. easy-lift guy
  8. Society is not in the baby sitting business. Choices are made every day good or bad, if one makes enough bad choices sooner or later it catches up with you. Same thing with good choices!. If you choose to not learn from making bad choices that is also a choice. If one chooses to remain in a holding pattern and blame society for not caring enough or at all that is up to that person, not society. easy-lift guy
  9. Because in the final annalise it is up to choice and not giving into temptation. How strong one is and remains from a mental and physical standpoint determines which course to take and right or wrong decisions to be made along life's journey. easy-lift guy
  10. Hamadryad, don't worry about it to much when the poo hits the fan and it will in our life times them folks with no manners and poor behaviour will be so much Cannon fodder and be swept away. Just want to make sure your protected and don't get caught in the out going tide:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  11. Regrettably, I believe you will not have to wait much longer to get an answer to your question. Once the government get's out of the business of business the faster nearly all economiies will truly start to recover. easy-lift guy
  12. Andy your spot on!, the government should be responsible for two things only, Basic services and protecting the country from abroad and within. Anything else is a complete waste. I bet you already know my feelings about the Unions as well:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  13. Sorry Lee, your wrong. The killings you are referring to in Newtown just north of Sarasota, FL. USA. Is known for its killings and very bad crime. Your race has nothing to do with weather or not you will be killed, it is only when and how:thumbdown:, I choose to be this blunt since I consider this area a no go area and if any members of AT ever make your way over for a visit to the Sunshine State let me know, I will make sure you will know the no go areas in advance, like a good neighbor, I will be there:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  14. Mark the fashion statements you are noticing are like uniforms, many different examples over here all are no good and one needs to stay far away from these folks since you never know if they are packing or not:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  15. Very interesting thread Dean, the present generation has no concept of the past and even less knowledge or common sence. The it's all about me and nothing else matters generations have been destroying this country from within since the 60's forward. I have seen and lived thru these social malcontents over the years and in many cases they are products of their environment. In most cases that has been very bad:thumbdown:. FYI, I live about 45 min's South of where your Two British citizens were killed by the punk that had just been released from jail less than 24 hours earlier only to kill these Two young men in cold blood. Yes they were in a very bad area of town, I know since I drive through this area twice a week every week. The person that killed these two men was just found guilty but because of his age will get to spend the rest of his life in prison. Of course I believe this form of punishment for the crime committed is a total waste across the board, no consolation for the families of the murdered victims. easy-lift guy
  16. Not true, yellow cake was found and can be used as a WMD the balance went into neighboring countrys like Syria. Other African nations at one time were controled by other European nations much like the UK and common wealth nations. As in the past when requested countries like Belgium has sent forces into the Congo and other former colonies. This would include France as well. Sad to say some African nations are doomed to fight one another as long as they can since it is what was done before other colonial powers came to incorporate them, only to grant them independence, With great power comes great responsiblity, Ben Parker. easy-lift guy
  17. Better for me, sales are up over 100% same time sales from last year, looking to expand into Austraila soon as well, that should prove intresting, profitable. easy-lift guy
  18. The US Mission ended the Day the person in the whitehouse announced when US force would start to deploy out of the country. No Military leader would ever show their cards in advanced unless the plan was to have the country return back to the Taliban. Present military leadership from the top down with the Afghanistan Military is very infiltrated with Taliban, others waiting for US Pull out, NATO forces are more or less sitting ducks ATM. The CNC of this country has been so anti Military that it makes me sick at best and at worse I choose not to say, not here anyway! God bless all of our troops and our allies. easy-lift guy
  19. Great news. Chalk one up for the good guys! easy-lift guy
  20. Nice job, how long did the job take to complete? easy-lift guy
  21. Ain't that the truth! easy-lift guy
  22. David, anyone could see that was one of the Dwarf French Oak trees:lol: easy-lift guy
  23. My product although made in the USA was required to have the CE marking in order to be sold in the UK. I believe this applies to most if not all other countries that are a part of the EU. easy-lift guy
  24. I believe your country has Two choices for the future from an economic stand point. Start to slowly reduce the dependencies of the population while at the same time reduce the tax burden upon business as well as the tax paying public. This will stimulate the private sector to start reinvesting back into their businesses and spur new hiring. The new hiring will encourage new spending which even at a lower tax rate will bring in more funds for the government to. work with, not to waste but to spend according to a budget. Any surpluses should be carried over to the next fiscal year and only used in the event of a National emergency or time of war. The regressive VAT for the UK should be phased out over time completely to further expand and help with the growth of the economy as a whole. That is the first choice, the Second choice is more of what your government has provided at a very high cost to every citizen. With an ever increasing debt to revenue ratio due to a never decreasing social welfare system, future generations will be cursed with more of the same with far less in return. No, I am not an economist but I do wish the best for my fellow members and their own personnel economy and future success in all endeavors easy-lift guy
