  1. The Canadians have been struggling with same issues regarding Quebec. Seems like the same story either side of the Atlantic. easy-lift guy
  2. Janey, You are Kind, Considerate, and Caring:thumbup1::thumbup1:. You must understand that not everyone can and will be able to do what you do. Here Stateside I frequently provide a nice cold glass of water or when it gets cold enough I will buy a coffee or hot coco for my workers helping me. Your acts just makes good sense and I suspect your up bringing had a lot to do with your manors as well. Keep up the good work, it pays you back in so many ways! easy-lift guy
  3. Your post reads like you have already answered your questions. Based on your description of the trees I would have the trees removed, stumps ground out. Buy yourself the peace of mind you deserve and move forward. easy-lift guy
  4. I will say a Rosary for your wife and your family. Be strong for your wife, you have many friends on this site. easy-lift guy
  5. I found the customers who would make contact with me while working at their neighbors property the most annoying. Seems since I was already working on site could I please give a quote for a job. The customer, I would agree on a price and time for said work and when I show up the next day or whenever agree to the work was either being done by someone else like the home owner, or another company or best yet already done!!!!. When I would ask the customer what was going on or had happen, the customer would have as many excuses as Carter's little pills. Grrrrr!. Thank God I don't need that non sence any more. easy-lift guy
  6. Good grief!, full stop. I just realized it is a ponytail palm. My error!. Otherwise same advise. easy-lift guy
  7. Looks like a Corkscrew Pine. Plenty of them here in Florida. The Root ball will be at least 400 lbs!. It can be done, I actually sold one to a local nursery half that size about 10 years ago and it survived the transplant fine. easy-lift guy
  8. Franco was a Two bit player at the time. Hitler knew what he could take and extort from the France, the UK. Once September 1st 1939 came around the die had been cast. No turning back. easy-lift guy
  9. So very true:thumbup1:. "Never was so much owed by so many to so few" WSC. easy-lift guy
  10. Your point is taken, size is relative. When normal maintenance practices are altered or changed in such a way to appease the environmentalist Wackos the end results have always ended in Disaster:thumbdown:. Creating habitat for the sake of increasing certain species usually throws the balance that nature has in mind out of wack most of the time. I do agree with some other comments about the amount of foreign aid being squandered and our right theft of working funds that should be used for local citizens First. Charity really does begin at home first. Not harsh, just realistic. easy-lift guy
  11. Seems to me this situation is caused by 3 things. Mother Nature, incompetent government officials, which has a trickle down affect, last of all people and developers foolish and selfish enough to be allowed to establish homesteads in areas seemingly below sea level in the first place. I see the same thing occurring at so many levels here stateside. Really makes me sick. Even more so the hand ringing and finger pointing before, during and after the fact!. Appalling. If little or no maintenance can be done to keep the results of Mother Nature in check, any and all affected parties living in said flood planes must sign a waiver of release for any future claims of responsibility. The government must either provide for proper funding to maintain the land and water ways or, buy back all of the land from the owners and condemn, until such time a responsible government actually willing to pull their collective heads from their backsides are willing to serve the needs of the citizens and not them selfs. easy-lift guy
  12. Hey Jon, present temp in Boston, 18. 9.4" of the white fluffy stuff from the sky yesterday! I hope the 2nd day of NEG 2014 is going to be better than the first. Stay warm and dry folks! easy-lift guy
  13. I would like to see the chat room restored back to how it was before the last raffle draw. In its present configuration I believe it is pretty much useless, IMHO. easy-lift guy
  14. Perhaps, however seeing how I will be over for the APF in September I like to plan ahead:thumbup1:. easy-lift guy
  15. I would say it is to late for that egg, someone has a full time job keeping you in line:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  16. This has to be the longest derailed goodbye thread I have ever read, that aside Lee can you recommend any good fishing holes? I have always like your avatar and the row of fish you caught! easy-lift guy
  17. Greetings, Welcome from the Sunshine State. easy-lift guy
  18. Mick, I am going to turn you in to them folks taking down your tag number:sneaky2: Take care, watch out for them "bloody yanks" Thanks easy-lift guy
  19. Tim is referring to the Spirit and Freedoms that are enjoyed by citizens of the USA. Try bashing another country and leave the USA alone. Your desire to continue to turn this thread into a political diatribe is getting boring:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  20. Mike thank you for your reply. Just wondering if you have ever lived and or worked in the USA?. I have often tried to understand why people seeming hate the USA, yet are willing to give up everything for a chance to become a citizen of the same nation. People or citizens in nearly all western nations have one really important thing going for them selfs. They have a choice. Here in the USA I have many choices to make every day. One really important choice I exercise every day is the ability to use my brain to make informed decisions based on information I know to be true and reliable. I actually believe your opinions are very one sided and that you have a bias against American Corporations and perhaps through extension American made products and services. That is your choice. I like to treat people the way I would like to be treated. Now I am not judging you. I honestly believe you believe what you have stated in your reply. Just try and keep an open mind and consider another side to your facts presented. Especially from a fellow member born and raised in the USA. easy-lift guy
  21. O and by the way Ronald McDonald house charities are really big deal here and I am very proud to hear that a fellow member has been able to seek help from this fine organization. easy-lift guy
  22. I commented earlier about another members dislike of US Corporations, Mc Donald's included and in actuality the amount of trash left behind at any fast food restaurant or convenience store location is really disgusting. My first job was working at a McDonald's and generally most employees dreaded keeping the lobby or parking lot clean. Bottom line people around the world can be really big pigs when it comes to trash, not cleaning up after them selfs. Definitely people that litter have little or no regard for them selfs and sadly are a by product of their own environment. easy-lift guy
  23. Would that include my Two US Corporations as well?. My two products are manufactured in the US and sold around the world, including the UK:thumbup1: Really curious what your negative feelings are all about? easy-lift guy
  24. Strictly from a maintenance point of view a complete day, nightmare in the making. easy-lift guy
