  1. No need to apologize, it's a sign of weakness. Socialism and Communism are the same thing. You just haven't figured out that they both have the same tailor:thumbdown:. easy-lift guy
  2. I will call him a communist. The rotten apple did not fall far from the tree considering his mother and father were both communist and so was his Kenyan Grand father. Just wondering if you ever spent any time in America or have you ever voted in a U.S. Election or learned anything about the Two primary political parties in the U.S.?. Perhaps your definition of the words conservative and liberal are different than that of the U.S., however my family from Poland agrees with my opinion about the C and C presently renting out 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. They should know having lived under and occupied by two similar dictatorships for over 50 years. I believe you would not call the current president of the U.S. a socialist, mainly because you have not lived under a true socialist/communist government. My family has, I have seen the damage first hand done to my country in the last 7+ years. Not pretty, but than again Two political ideas proven to fail every time tried usually looses it luster when the money runs out or citizens wake up and vote for a free government when given the chance. easy-lift guy
  3. Clever video, a prime example of what it is like to race to the bottom. easy-lift guy
  4. If you have either a iPhone or droid cell phone you can process your customers payments. You can down load an app and get paid for services rendered fast instead of wasting your time and carrying your customers invoices while they work with your time and money. easy-lift guy
  5. FYI with regards to card readers. Today's technology allows the CC to be read very simply and most CC processing companies provide a reader which plugs into a smart phone and ready for use at once, for free!. Being paid on the spot for either 2.5% with a signature or 2.75% without means I have my money in my account in less than 24 hours. Not days or weeks or even months. The price I am charged is also a deductible expense. For residential accounts this should be the only way to collect payment unless you have cash or check in hand prior to or upon completion. I am often amazed at the number of people in business on both sides of the Atlantic who routinely allow customers to take advantage of their companies by paying slow or making excuses/lies for not paying on time. I suppose that as long as the customer knows that they can get away with using and abusing service providers terms for payment they will continue ripping off the provider, as long as they can get away with it. easy-lift guy
  6. Other than a wrong word is there any really useful information or advise other than suggesting someone giving up smoking can you contribute to this thread by the OP? easy-lift guy
  7. I believe I was referring to a method of payment instead of waiting for a check in the mail or some sort of other excuse not to pay when presented with an invoice. The OP may be granting credit in lieu of not being paid on time, I suspect he has better things to do with his money. easy-lift guy
  8. Have you considered excepting CC for payment?. For the amount of funds your carrying I would make a point of getting my money a lot sooner than later. Just remember that whether your serving residential or commercial customers once they find out that your playing the part of banker and there are no consequences for their slow payment they will take advantage of you every time. You work to hard for your money to allow these parasites to take advantage of you, your business. easy-lift guiy
  9. She was a great actress. RIP. easy-lift guy
  10. So far we have tax credits gone, higher wages so folks can afford their own home, Cameron should be held accountable for lyeing, stop serving expensive bubble water to leaders who kill thousands of their own citizens while the UK continues business as usual, people should work harder and stop depending on the government teet for everything, Find someone who can work both sides of the fence while offending no one and leave everyone with a smile on their face, shoot that's the easy part I nominate Jon Mendiplogs as the new PM for the UK. Problem solved. easy-lift guy ps, Jon if you need help with your acceptance speech just send me a pm I can help.
  11. Hmm?, all this time I thought this was about regularity easy-lift guy
  12. Interesting thread. I have read all of the replies and watched the video. It seems that weather either party gets elected the results are pretty much the same. Take a little here give a little there, Opps have to raise taxes again, o well some one else to blame next election cycle. Back and forth, forth and back. Has to be maddening! The more things change the more they stay the same. Is there a breaking point on behalf of the electorate that continue to elect the same old same old or will the UK continue to conduct business as usual?. This is not a put down of the UK, and God knows we have enough tripe to deal with here in the USA. easy-lift guy
  13. Jon, I don't know why folks are picking on you today. If you gotta go just go!. At least no one compared you to walking like a duck!. easy-lift guy
  14. Your right you should see all the file lines on the barrel of my AR-15 x 223 easy-lift guy
  15. Actually I created a thread entitled means and methods of protecting your kit. Fast forward a few years it appears that some of the theft that has occured in the past has let up some. The registering of equipment program I believe authored by Steve Bullman may have helped reduced the number of reports of stolen kit on AT, however with out any actual stats no one really knows. The main problem I see is the extreme apathy on the part of the police and the courts system within the UK. Sadly a certain degree of this same apathy bleeds over to the actual victims of the crimes committed and a more of the same attitude prevails IMHO. When and if the laws regarding the theft of property ever grow some actual teeth and the police change their policies I believe business as usual will continue and the thefts will continue. Most of your suggestions are actually based on common sense. Sadly common sense is surly lacking on either side of the pond:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  16. Nice problem to have. Stay warm and keep counting the funds coming in. easy-lift guy
  17. With the environmental laws in the UK I would be reluctant to consider this idea. Pretty sure that both products are known carcinogens as well. Your choice. easy-lift guy
  18. When the Florida State lottery became available the gimic or con was 7 cents of every dollar spent on the lotto went towards education. Who could possible be against the poor stupid children the educational system of Florida continues to pump out year after year. Once the lottery was passed into law by the masses of asses the state of Florida department of education promptly cut spending across the board. Sadly a classic bait and switch perpetrated against the stupid idiots who voted this crap into law. Fast forward Florida still lags far behind many other states in all categories and all of the 7 cents collect for all of the millions of tickets sold to all of the suckers lining up every day was all for nothing but a massive fraud and lie. The students and teachers were left once again holding the bag and society suffers once again at the hands of the masses. I did vote agains this when it was on the ballot, I don't play it as well. The house always wins first, all suckers welcome. Good god there are a lot of suckers on either side of the Atlantic! easy-lift guy
  19. 100% Correct. Diet and exercise have little baring on when your number comes up on the genetic roulette wheel. easy-lift guy
  20. It's a choice, a wise one at that. Bills will still be paid because your responsible and you are not willing to settle for less and lower your own standards in the process. Good for you! easy-lift guy
  21. If you have formal training and a degree as an arborist or working towards that goal, ask yourself how much a clear conscience is worth as opposed to just making the customer happy or really doing the wrong thing in order to earn a living?. In my past working life in the hortultural industry I was asked on several occasions to design and install landscapes based on what the customer requested, not what I knew as a professional would be the best design and choice of planting material. On every occasion I choose to be honest with the customer and do my best to explain options available in order to persuade the customer not to make expensive mistakes that were completly avoidable. Even if the customer was to stubborn to listen to reason I never took on a job that would end in disaster or ruin my business reputation. Some customers still wanted the work to be performed, however I was not willing to sell out and do the wrong thing for money. To this day and even with my own products , if anyone wants to buy my product and I feel that said product would not work for the customer for any reason I will not knowingly or willingly sell to this person. My reputation and conscience requires nothing less. easy-lift guy
  22. Still using otter box. If it's not broken, don't fix it:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  23. We have britches as well as pants. I occasionally wear trousers:thumbup1: Buy a decent case and the peace of mind you and your phone deserve. Otter box has been my choice for many years and I have never had a phone damaged due to accidental dropping. easy-lift guy
  24. Congratulations on your new investment. Where were you in Poland, I have family in Warsaw. easy-lift guy
