  1. Gary, Government regulation aside how difficult would it have been for "the mother with a pushchair attempting to pass was forced almost three metres into the road to do so" to have deviated her normal walk and let the work crew get on with their job?. Seriously:sneaky2: Pedestrians may very well have the right of way in the UK and a bit of common sense and consideration for the working crew to conduct their work in a safe and sound manor should prevail. You have a no win situation on your hands if the pedestrians have absolute rule over work crews. Here stateside some may make a fuss, however most others would just change their routine and let the working crew get along with their work. easy-lift guy
  2. harrythecat178, Frustrating really does not express your feelings I am sure. Next year you will shop earlier, at least the day before. easy-lift guy
  3. Roughly 35 miles RT, unless I travel to the stamper to pick up stock. Than it would be more like 70 miles. More miles equal more frog heads and more frustration. I will take working in the office or wear house over traveling on the roads with these type every time. easy-lift guy
  4. Similar challenges around these parts as well. During season between October and May the traffic is horrible. Couple that with lower fuel prices and the congestion is much worse. The police will not stop someone going below the speed limit, unless your on the interstate than it has been said you could get a ticket for going below the speed limit. Does not matter which lane you travel in if you are stuck behind one of these pin heads or frog heads you are pretty much doomed, unless you can find your way around them only to have them roll up next to you at the next intersection!, how is this possible I will never know?. I have one stretch where the posted speed is 45 MPH and I will encounter most of the traffic plogging along at 25 to 35 MPH and think nothing about where they are or headed and especially with new round a bouts installed which direction to travel in. Forget about which lane to travel in, these frog heads will go in the opposite direction and crash right into on coming traffic. I leave for work shortly to endure another morning commute battling wits with the frog heads and counting the minutes until I get to the office or wear house. UGH!!!. easy-lift guy
  5. Thanks Steven, I will do my best to make you all proud:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  6. Thanks, Kevin if I encountered someone like the actress in the video while in Australia I may have to start drinking something just to help me forget. Otherwise it was historical and funny. easy-lift guy
  7. I will take your advise to heart!. I will not enter into any boxing matches with the local kangaroos as well. Thanks easy-lift guy
  8. Thanks billy, will be catching up with you soon enough:thumbup1: Ted
  9. Thanks Paul, I have been brushing up on my expressions and sayings while in country. Seems the phrase is not liked very much down under, at least according to some YouTube videos I have viewed about Australia. I will enjoy some shrimp on the Barby in your honor:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  10. Thanks Kevin, I am truly looking forward to the show along with the many sights and sounds, many sales:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  11. Thanks Stubby, That's the plan and I hope I can learn the language while down there as well. easy-lift guy

  13. That ladder was on its last legs anyway, look at all of the rusted rivets holding it together! easy-lift guy
  14. Better your £££ than my $$$. I generally ignore ads on TV or radio that I do not want to listen to. Keep paying and I will keep enjoying for free. BTW, I Also have access to Iheart radio here in the states with thousands of stations covering all subject matter and music selection, best of all the price is still FREE. easy-lift guy
  15. Here in the states, we have free market capitalism. Programing is paid for by sponsors purchasing advertising time in order to present goods and services for consumers or customers to buy and use. I can purchase an entenna and pick up some local channels and I can listen to radio, AM, FM, SW, LW for free. If I choose to purchase cable or satalight for more channels I can. Personnally I have cable which allows me the most channel to watch by way of the cable provider. There is a slight fee or tax the state includes with my bill every month, however that is a user fee of about $2.00 or $3.00 per month. If I was forced to pay for everyone else's TV and radio viewing and listening habits I would not be living in Germany, no offense. At least that is how it works in the USA. easy-lift guy
  16. Pretty sure the statue of limitations do not exist for vandals of golf courses, better turn yourself in now while you still can. easy-lift guy
  17. Darrin, am I reading correctly that every house hold pays for Prilivage of watching Programing on the monitor. What if you don't have a TV, does everyone still have to pay for everyone else? easy-lift guy
  18. Now I understand why when I come over for a visit there is nothing to view on the monitor or no radio stations to listen to. Seems the motel and car rental companies did not pay their fees as well!. Good grief. easy-lift guy
  19. Bob your advice is spot on. I sell to superintendents around the world and I can assure you that if your on the same sheet of music as the super you will be fine. Coordinating your task and the supers needs will be criticle in order to be an established contractor with the course and others since they all network together. All the best. easy-lift guy
  20. I understand. Same problem here and even worse. I travel to a particular intersection that has 3 women directing traffic through a intersection that is signed with a Four way STOP Sign. Although these women have safety vest on and are in radio communication with one another or by yelling at one another they could at least have red or orange safety flags to help flow or stop the traffic through the intersection. No No No, can't have common sense get in the way of progress:sneaky2:. Even orange safety gloves would help, alas not with these folks. Maddening:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  21. Stubby, You should be mad, considering your fathers age and how well he will heal going forward. Keep his brandy serving friends either away from him or have a conversation with them and anyone else your dad has as friends. Topic: No more adult beverages for my father, Period. And yes it is your place, it your father! easy-lift guy
  22. Purchase according to your current and future needs. Only you can judge how well one piece of equipment will work over another based on your business plan and market share your seeking to acquire. easy-lift guy
  23. Nice video Rob!. Wishing you continued success. easy-lift guy
