  1. William, I am planning on attending the duration of the show. If you only have one day plann ahead and make a route of who or what you wish to see. The show covers many acres of territory. I am planning on being out front of the FR Jones & Son tent. I will have your name tag available on the first day and everyday of the show until your ready to stop by and pick it up. easy-lift guy
  2. Nice try Mark, I will be making a name tag for every alias you have ever used or plan on using:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  3. Perhaps, however I can provide for any member a name tag with their user name or actual name upon request. I can make them at my office and bring them over for the show. easy-lift guy
  4. Hi fellow, feller members. How would attendees, at least members of AT feel about name tags for this event? This show may be the only trade show I have ever attended that does not offer name tags. The last time I attended this show I was able to recognize some members from the last event, however a number of folks that did stop by though it would be a good idea. Any comments or suggestions would be helpful. I believe it would help promote AT in a simple and positive way. I can even prepare these tags in advance and have them available for pick up by simply stopping by FR Jones & Son's tent. easy-lift guy
  5. An illustrated Guide to Pruning Third edition By Edward F. Gilman, Very easy to read understand. I know the author personally. easy-lift guy
  6. The tree could not possibly be at fault:confused1:. The landscape architect and or designer is completely responsible. The zoning or code for tree requirements based on what ever formula needs to be on a case by case basis. This holds true on either side of the Atlantic. easy-lift guy

    Weeding

Back pack or hand held sprayer, pre and post emergent herbicide based on what your attempting to kill and control, mulch after control has been achieved and pre emergent there after. That simple. easy-lift guy
  8. TBH, looking at the front of the property I am astonished that the trees lasted as long as they did, with soil compaction over the years. Florida Slash Pines would have given up the goat long before any maturity could or would have been enjoyed. Better choices should have been made for tree selection, someone has to clean up the mess or polish the turd sooner or later. easy-lift guy
  9. Thanks for the correction. Sadly I feel the customers is in a loose loose situation. I would argue the TPO if it was me, however common sense probably would not mean very much to the Tree Police easy-lift guy
  10. The root system of most trees as a general rule is 3 times the size of the canopy. Planting trees near or under existing paver blocks or concrete drives is just asking for trouble. Simple solution is don't plant trees near paver block or concrete drives or sidewalk. Sadly the picture of the customers property is classic poor placement of trees with no consideration of future growth habits and damage yet to come. I would suggest removal of the trees and relaying of the paver block. Otherwise the problem will get worse. I hope the owner does not have a cracked foundation from the trees as well. easy-lift guy
  11. You could always hirer a crane service to move the material to your chipper, unless overhead power line prohibit the use. Just don't kill or injure yourself for the sake of the job. easy-lift guy
  12. Just remember to have budgeted out replace wheels for the future of the pallet jack. The concrete can and will be unforgiving on the plastic wheels that really need a smooth surface for maximum traction and efficiency. easy-lift guy
  13. I like Mike Roe, his Dirty Jobs Series TV series here in the US. I understand Mikes frustration and need to create such a video to help people willing to learn and earn from their own given talents. I think the perception presented by Mike needs to be taken into context especially if one lived and worked here in the US. There are tens of millions of people in the US that have become so dependent on the state for nearly everything for the last 40 years their own perception regarding self worth is just like a reality based TV show, basically fake. When reality actually does come a calling the inability of these people to cope and deal with the truth is astounding. Sadly these same people choose to sue in court if they do not get their way or worst yet burn and loot their neighborhoods and towns and cities, only to have the government come in and apologize for everything that has happened and rebuild it all over again. Just in time for the process to repeat it's self all over again. easy-lift guy
  14. Stay on a steady and true course. Leave the less than honorable contractors make their own troubles. No point going down with the ship if your not on board. easy-lift guy
  15. No joy this side of the pond, EU item only. easy-lift guy
  16. The AUD and NZD would be easier, slightly. Compare the exchange rate of all the currencies and you will discover limited buying power compared to the chilian Peso. easy-lift guy
  17. Have you tried to contact the ISA on line for other companies or schools in Central or South America?. I truly admire your desire to better yourself. There are also literally hundreds of schools in North America as well. You may also want to contact the TCIA for assistance with your objectives. If you decide to travel to the UK and take up schooling I believe you will have many choices for formal schooling and training. Just remember the cost will be rather expensive when comparing the exchange rate between the £ and the Peso. easy-lift guy
  18. I will keep an eye out for one or more here Stateside. I have many Stihl dealers that I can contact. I will send you a PM once I find out anything. easy-lift guy
  19. Gary, Topiaries generally take the correct type of material, proper placement for more extravagant examples and time. easy-lift guy
  20. Your thread may be the first pro active attempt of the state of CA to actually use state tax payer funds towards a good use. All tax payers from the state of CA. benefit from this type of work. I only hope that most of the home owners will not allow this type of hazard to occure for future generations by planting and maintaing better types of trees for their properties. easy-lift guy
  21. I would recommend contacting the ISA to see if anyone is hiring in Canada. Better make sure you have at least 1 years salary saved before you make this trip/decision. The cost of goods and services may appear cheap once you arrive, however once your own Pounds run low you will have a better understanding of how poorly the Canadian Dollar is compared to the Pound or even the USD. easy-lift guy
  22. This company along with many other similar weight loss programs require the end user to be dedicated to using their products and methods period. The key IMHO if your already over weight is to determine why and what to only eat going forward. I did just that 17 months ago and when I started I weighed 225 Lbs and need to loose this fat for good. I lost 40 Lbs in 40 days by having my dietary requirement calculated by my doctor and his proprietary technology. I have managed my weight since the beginning to the present and for myself the system worked, continues to do so. From a personal and professional standpoint I am very happy and feel better and more confident especially when I am demoing my products at trade shows and people see older videos of myself and notice the difference. Presently at 185 Lbs and holding. easy-lift guy
  23. Inspiring. People in general really steel them selfs short on many things, particularly when it comes to working out doors. Considering the stereotypes this person has to deal with daily my hat is off to her. I hope her daughter appreciates how hard her mom works to support their family. easy-lift guy
