  1. Are you trying to say something, Bob , mind you Bob would of got more than 6 blocks down in a shift ??
  2. Why would we need to import oak from Holland ? so thats the second major tree infection we have had from holland, its time some one in goverment stood up and realised that we where once fairly self sufficent at growing our own trees, we hardly have any elm left millions of larch have gone, ash dieback is now sweeping the country and now our native oaks are under threat what next beech ,alder, popular, birch, and the amount of birch we are importing i can see us bringing something in to the country that will kill all them next, if it was up to me i would flood the channel tunnel to make us back in to a island again with only air and water links to europe and iust set fire to the eden project where we have all these imported trees and shrubs,
  3. Yes but one is right the other totally wrong , just been to hell and back registering a specific viechiel what one .GOV website says the other does not its a very confusing issue and takes some abbsorbing.
  4. Yes i would go with you on that one, if they do another tour i am going no matter what the cost befor its to late, and has Mick Dempsey has just mentioned mylie cyrus that track nothing breaks like a heart, when i first heard it i thought it was either something new or something i had never heard from Fleetwood Mac and as far as i am concerned that should of been done by FM 20 years ago i am sure Stevie could of done it justice,,,
  5. seen a lot of bands over the years some i would of asked for my money back as they where that good, best 3 bands i have seen are Sex pistols, bon jovi and the Eagles but the man who blew everything away was ? and i only ended up at this concert at the MEN arena because the women i was with at the time was besotted by this guy, when i came out of there i was totaly amazed at what i had just seen and that was Tom the man jones, all i can say he is one top performer live and it was way more than i expected, since then i have had the utter most respect for Sir Tom,
  6. yes mediocer may be ? but she is one of the hottest 50 year olds on the planet and she has moved with the times and stood the test of time and still at it, Kylie and Amanda Holden what a dream that would be, right its a early night for me now,
  7. 462 revs it nuts off very quick up to speed a little more power and a touch lighter, if it was a saw i had in my hands all day but i dont i would go 462 over 461 due to weight if i needed a saw of that size for the job in hand, if it was,nt needed i would just pick 261 up, got 2 461 and yes they seem to be a decent saw and you can fix them yourself, if your using it every day all day weight is an issue but if its just now and then why not stick with what you know, ebay was swamped with 461s about a month ago i ended up with a 10 month old 461 that had not had 5ltrs of fuel through it for £400 and it was very local but the guy had to have the 462 as it was a new toy,,
  8. did,nt cleartrack UK go tits up about 12 - 18 months ago used to have 2 yards up our way,
  9. the older Zetors 70 - 90hp where so simple to work on and the engines where bomb proof, but as one old guy used to tell me simplicity is so reliable ,
  10. ford TW range good reliable machines, only going to go up in value weather used or not no dog shit electrics like todays tractors that only someone on a £100 an hour can fix with his laptop, as for the newer NH a guy i work with has a ts200 been nothing but trouble, front axle problems, electrics and a power issue got it chipped up to 240hp and no better, Loyds seem to be out to it every couple of months to it, and its not as if it does a lot of work, pulls a lowloader about with a 14 tonne Dooson on it, and when he says his old 1174 pulled it better with half the horsepower but wasent up to stopping it so good,
  11. You watch your language ! you will be getting a red card,
  12. I think saws with engines on must of been one of the biggest game changers there as been in the whole tree industry, and before any one says it, NO i dont remember them coming out,!!!!
  13. No its karate its in a black bottle !!
  14. sorry to hear that, the whole thing with all this theft is becoming a joke and plod wont seem that bothered either .
  15. What you mean old fossil ? i will have you know i will be in my late teens saturday night as going to the disco, will have my Hi karate on and best slip on,s,,,,
  16. Not good that one, its a lot of kit and will add up to a few quid, there will be another one or tow arb crews setting up out of the travelling community on someone elses gear, there is a few things that get me about situations like this and they are, its fast approching the time of year (sept/oct) when saws sell really well and fast, steal em now let the heat die down up for sale in the months mentioned above, and the other is the amount of saws you see with out the silver date and numbers sticker on then at the said time of year, i think someone needs to develop a micro tracking system to nip this sort of practice in the bud, sorry to hear this but its happening every where,
  17. Not good news that and sorry to hear, and people ask me why i have my saws in the kitchen next to the hoover, one thing i did see lately was a sticker on the rear of a van which read, please dont steal my tools as i need them to go to work to help pay your benifits !
  18. might put a plug on my hoover to see if it works ?
  19. Might draft you in with your hens but would it be a subcontract day rate or hourly rate ?
  20. might be in northwest lancs,
  21. is that your new hen cabin ? then you don,t have to keep em in your van ?,,,
  22. Hi we have been asked to remove 2 trees, both trees at some point have suffered from windblow and the larger one has more of a lean than the smaller one, the bigger tree 38" diameter is the worst of the 2 but is slightly hung up in the smaller one, which tree first and how would you go about this ? what cut would you use ? what would be the proceedure and how long should i allow for this, timber left in 6ft lengths and brash chipped,
  23. Been using FB market place recently and just seems to be full of time wasters, along with people who cant be arsed reading the add and people insulting me with pathetic offers, i would say one sale out of 40 enquireys is about the norm,
  24. there not rhododendroms, there 10" birch you want to get to specsavers !!!!!!
  25. why would i want to borrow that hen cabin ?
