  1. Try Solent Body Builders.
  2. Wood walkers if you're mostly on the ground. Airstreams if you're mostly in a tree. It's a durability thing.
  3. Cleaning your rope is a waste of time. Buying a new one is much easier!
  4. So I set myself up with a base anchor and tie like Fredward did in his photo above. As you can see, it's a lowerable system (2 ropes tied together) so long as I don't go through any redirects. Maybe Santa will bring the long rope I've been coveting!
  5. Nothing's strange about your post, I think Eggsarascal suspects you're female and just wants to know what you look like.
  6. Good lad. You know it makes sense!
  7. Correct Rich. Any other explanation is wrong. Keep up the good work.
  8. Don't know about an app but an EPIRB or an ARGOS beacon would do the job if things get dicey. A bit pricey mind!
  9. Brilliant! I'll order two pairs and send one to Bolam. 😳😘
  10. I suggest two things Mark. 1: Cuddle the customer more. 2: Extra sessions of male private exercise.
  11. I'll sell you mine for £400. Let me know and I'll bring it round later. Then I'll drive to a dealers and buy a new one.
  12. I'd find out which dealers are closest to you. That will narrow your search of brands. Otherwise, if I had my time again I'd spend my money as fast as possible on a Bandit HB20, no question. Then if you need a bigger machine, the Carlton 4012 is crap IMO but the 7015 would be money well spent, or the Bandit equivalent. Just my opinion and I'm sure I'll be slated for it. Hahaha!
  13. You're not saving £400 by not buying one, you're working less efficiently. Spend the £400 to be more efficient and you'll make a lot more than £400.
  14. I don't think you'd like Blue Tongue for SRT. Yale Poison HiVee works well on DdRT and SRT. Cougar Blue seems to be the preferred rope for SRT.
  15. I meant on descent, not decent. Although a decent descent would be nice. Lol!
  16. Ian, you mentioned on another thread (I think) that you've found the RR to be a bit jumpy on decent sometimes. Is this in the same way that a Lockjack can be jumpy? I ask this because I know the LJ. Thanks.
  17. I think there will always be a place for the RW because many people prefer a hitch. I haven't used the RR or Uni but it's easy to see the appeal of each in slightly different applications. Bravo to the inventors of all these devices!
  18. Many years ago I worked for a company that was robbed one night. however, the robbers crashed their stolen car whilst escaping and got quite hurt. Result!
  19. No need to watch telly any more. There's more comedy on here than I can cope with! Hahahaha!
  20. Loads of us have them because they're as comfy as any other but better ventilated than any other. Also has a higher safety rating than any other.
  21. And you still employ him???
  22. Drones are a great gadget, unfortunately their use in Arb work is limited to about zero, unless it's for entertainment. I looked at this last year with a buildings surveyor. His 'copter' cost him £16K and was the cheapest model that could actually do the job sufficiently. A model that can get into a tree canopy and come back with adequate video or photos, the US military still keep them for themselves. Alternatively, their built by boffins or sold from Japan at knee trembling prices.
  23. Replace it when it snaps!
  24. Hi Adam. Yes I had seen it and that's what prompted me to look into them. Thanks.
  25. Oh, sorry to hear that Simon. Never mind about the Widget, just keep your children safe. All the best Al.
