  1. I've just bought my third Jensen. Got a really good deal from Arbrep Services who have looked after my previous machines with an exemplary level of service.
  2. Why is that Ian? Thanks in advance Al.
  3. I see this thread has had 186 views so far but no replies. I guess no one on Arbtalk knows if Harry is ok or of his whereabouts. I still have not heard a peep. Quite odd.
  4. That's what I'd do. Well not 500 but loads of them and put the cost in the quote.
  5. Has anyone seen or heard from Harry today? (monday 5th) He was supposed to start work for me this morning but didn't arrive. I've left messages but no reply so I am worried that something bad has happened, car crash etc etc. If anyone knows if he is ok, or not, please let me know. I only have his email and mobile so if anyone has a landline for him, perhaps you could PM it to me. He has advertised himself as a freelance climber so I'd also like to know if I can expect him in on Friday. He confirmed yesterday at 6pm that he'd be here today. Thanks.
  6. It's the Swazi jacket that looks good but the price after shipping and import would be rude.
  7. But what did he say about remedial treatment, to improve the symptoms? AV gloves etc is preventative measures. Thanks.
  8. The mind boggles.
  9. Did you think that was a stick stroking your buttocks when you were on the ladder? 😘😘
  10. I recently got Arbpro Clip n Step boots. Superbly comfortable. Time will tell if they are durable for me but lots of people said they are.
  11. So as a result of these tingly finger tests, what can actually be done as remedial therapy? I always keep an eye on AV mounts (make the apprentice use the knackered ones) and I wear full finger AV gloves for long hedge cutter and big saw work
  12. Why rule out half the population just because they're male?! 😱😜
  13. Ok that makes sense. I'd say that the level that Reg has achieved is equal to anyone that is able to do the job safely, without drama, without massive exertion and in unison with the ground crew. I'd regard that to be the same as my freelancers (one has just moved to Cumbria) and me as well as many other good tree surgeons I've seen. I should add that I've seen many more 'bomber' than I have seen good Arbs. I also add that I base my opinion of Reg on his videos alone as I've never met him.
  14. Wish I'd never written any of that now. I can imagine the Arbtalk mafia are sharpening their typing fingers already! Lol!
  15. I don't quite understand the comparison you're making between Reg and a hacker. I know what a hacker does but does Reg do something that the rest of us don't? Edit: that's a genuine question, not a sarcastic one. No disrespect meant to Reg either, I'm just curious as to the parameters of the comparison.
  16. There is no hood.
  17. Where did you get it from Stephen? Postage and import tax make it a bit pricey?
  18. I'd have bought one of these if it wasn't black. Stupidest colour for a jacket to be used in our job. Does seem like a very good jacket though.
  19. That R60 Rockwool sounds like the right stuff. Clad your neighbour's house in it then they won't hear your power tools, or loud music!
  20. If you play very loud music it will mask the noise from the power tools.
  21. Does anyone know what size Torx bit is needed to remove the bolt from alloy Distel spikes? I thought it was an Allen bolt, until I went to install my KK earlier.
  22. What Steve Bulman said.
