  1. This is a very specific question, I don't want a discussion on whether SRT is better than DdRT. it's not a gear argument either:sneaky2: The question is: Can a trainee climber learn on an SRT system as easily and with the same level of safety as if he was learning on a DdRT system?
  2. Maybe but it would also be the most expensive set up, apart from a Uni and RW.
  3. Very funny👍
  4. Wow, you started early! I'm just getting on it now👍.
  5. 11:51 and still here. Although one of my guys has just had a struggle in a Beech and he wished he was dead!😂😂
  6. Damn it, now I'm gonna have to pay for all that frivolous spending I did yesterday on hookers, booze, Ferrari, porn channel, Unimog, Iveco 4x4!
  7. Flipping 'eck! Wife just booked an Ocado delivery for Saturday evening. More money down the drain!!
  8. I've worn mine several times now and today it was pouring all day long. When I took it off my jumper was slightly damp which is as I would expect in our climate. I've found the cut of the smock to be excellent and its very comfy. I thought that not having a full length zip would irritate me but it doesn't. Excellent product.
  9. If your groundie is the girl in your avatar, I'm selling my business for £1 and coming to work for you.
  10. Never mind the TPO Shane, I want to see his risk assessment for carrying out such a storm!😂
  11. Never mind boots, you need wellies if you're near me!
  12. Dire! All my saws are going on eBay, I'm buying a rowing boat.
  13. Damn it. So I've wasted all that money on Xmas presents!
  14. Dry gear is for wimps!
  15. Loving this thread.
  16. Not sure Ty but probably around 10hrs although it is variable of course. I hate it!
  17. Interesting. So what about Scots Pine or Cypress as fire wood? I was under the impression that they are good at taring up flues.
  18. That's a really good set up BenR. I'd only use it if I was doing 100ft+ ascents most days. For our English trees I like the least fiddly options but I do love seeing people trying things. It eventually leads to something great.
  19. Stephen Blair's is good money. Hardly used and a really good price. I'd have bought it already if it was a single cab.
  20. Rich, never mind splicing. You need to spend more time tidying your house, it's fallen over!
  21. ????? It automatically recoils all of your Lanyard, that's it's purpose. Look at the video on youtube.
  22. It's happened now but is have voted for Zara Dampney. She presents a great errm, package. https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSb-R8E4P-fYC5hvA782K5OouFL05Z1cbifRoa_PgROUsOmaOXa
  23. Stephen Blair's Iveco would be a good investment. The price is superb and you won't have all the limiting factors of a Transit or Landy. Also you'll cool as, while not having the discomfort of a Mog. In case you wondering, I've had a Landy, a Transit, a Mog and now have another Transit (which is useless).
  24. I like the Gomtaro, cos that's what I'm used to.
