  2. Where is the public safety factor? I see no shops. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. The CMI looks good but is a great big lump compared to a Pantin. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  4. Why was a guy riding the hook for each pick, or was it just the first pick? A man on the hook just increases the risk IMO. Do you know Nik Carre by any chance? Nik and I worked together in Barbados many years ago.
  5. What is this saw like Ian? Has it had much use by you? I'm considering a change.
  6. Depends which of the above you believe. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. I'd do the cab in silver. It wouldn't look at all like an army it council truck. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. A Pantin is possibly the best thing I ever bought (apart from expensive Rum & Vodka) and can be used with any climbing system. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  9. And there is the perfect solution. DAMN IT!!! 😂😂😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. Curse you Blaisey for bringing this thread back up again! I'd have to sell both feet to afford one though. Hold on, if I had a Boxer, I wouldn't need to walk............. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  13. Do you climb with both ends of the rope? If so, that's the reason. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  16. ...... yep, he was sweating like a Catholic Priest in a school play ground! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. If it's a desert island there would be no commercialism so no need for a saw. All I'd need is a bottomless bottle of Rum and a desert island dolly! 👍😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. I'm sure it's not recommended but I just wanted to see what was underneath. I assume it's a safety reason Yve? To be honest, the attachment slots are so small I'm sure they wouldn't add much to the ventilation.
  19. Why is the BigShot causing damage? Surely it's got something to do with positioning in the pouch.
  20. I don't do it all because I can't stand the amount of bounce in the system and having to to make the TIP a bit lower can be annoying. Of course, there are exceptions when I would use it for safety reasons.
  21. You can open it up to get another wrap on the spool but generally there is some hanging out so that the lanyard is still 15ft. I don't know why the plugged hole is there. I have my line out through it although you need to expand the hole to reduce friction as the rope goes in and out. Works perfectly. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. I like the second system Adam. The most important detail about any base anchored system, whether it's fixed or adjustable, it must survive the flop test.
  23. It's all good Wolter. I'm always up the tree so only a bird poo will fall on my head. Thats exactly what I keep saying JimM! The shell is much bigger than a Petzl or Stein but it measures smaller than them with the ear muffs sticking out the sides. And nothing gets snagged on it. I know some people don't like how it looks. I couldn't care less how I look, It's all about comfort and function for me.
  24. Well we've had the two hot days of the year here. About 26 degrees but very humid. The ventilation is definitely better because I noticed no sweat build up inside the shell and my hair wasn't drenched as before. Today I've taken the vent cover off, at Treespotters suggestion. It was easy to slide off and reveals six more narrow vents. Got to be a good thing, unless it compromises the safety. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
