  1. If I was Prime Minister I'd bring in new caravan towing regulations. 1: minimum 400hp from towing vehicle. 2: additional road tax licence £10k per annum. 3: restricted access to all public roads. Between 1 & 4 am only. 4: minimum speed limit of 75mph regardless of road or driving conditions. I hate caravans. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  2. Excellent Mick. 👍👍 Staying at home cos it's hot just cos they're self employed?? Who's gonna pay the bills. I'll be sweating like a whore in a confessional and getting paid like one! 😂😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/attachments/srt-single-rope-technique/128364d1372783041-whats-your-harness-srt-boys-20130702_123332.jpg So I tried this yesterday and it didn't work at all Lucky I still had my lanyard on! What size ring is used? The photo looks like a large ring. I used a large ring and 11.7mm rope.
  4. There's load if water in the handful of ice cubes that bob about in my Rum! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. How come you've started exactly the same thread in The Lounge? Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  6. If I was going to by a 6" it would be a Forst but I have not used a small Bandit for ten years. If I was getting a 9" or bigger it would be a Bandit, no question. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. When my son was four, he was trying to explain something to me whilst eating dinner. He was struggling with his words and I became impatient so I said "Come on, spit it out!" He promptly spat his food across the table! 😂😂😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. Erm, you want to see a photo of a hedge Mick? Just look out the window if you want to see a hedge. If you do a fair bit of hedge cutting, it's well worth the money. Simple. I spend a lot of dosh every year visiting my Osteopath because I spent years hauling myself around under a Prussik loop and wielding a long hedge cutter for hours on end. Now I'm paying the price for the abuse but things like the ELH and climbing trees on a single line are really helping. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  10. The Echo is a good hedge trimmer and has their 'triple cut' cutting system which helps with the thicker stuff. Cheap tools will cost you more. I'd also recommend running it on Aspen 2T from new. As well as the health and environmental benefits, it won't turn to syrup in the carburettor like 2 stroke will if left alone for months. 11. Today we did one of my all day hedge cutting jobs. With two men we usually finish at 5:30. Today we finished at 4! And I felt fresh as a daisy (compared to the usual exhaustion & agony). So that's a simple sum for any ELH doubters. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. Find a good Osteopath. One that has a real focus on Pilates. That will help. Failing that, open a beach bar in Thailand.
  13. 😂😂👍👍 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. I'll open it up and try another wrap on the spool. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. Depends how big the jobs are and how many of them you do per month. Mine will pay for itself this summer, easily, and I'll be buying another in a couple of weeks. 👍 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. Your right Ian. I have quite a lot of historical jobs that I've had for years. Really big Cypress and Beech etc, 3 men all day. So it's well worth it for that. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. It now ranks in my Best Things Ever list along with other cunning inventions such as: Toothpaste. The alcoholic drink. Stein Arb Trolley. Pagani Zonda. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. It sure is. I got an Easy Lift Harness a few days ago. What a superb piece of kit. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  19. Not sure but I guess it's a good question although I don't know why it would make a difference. Any thoughts. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  20. Not sure why I posted someone else's post. I did get horribly drunk last night though and was still steaming when I had breakfast earlier. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. I agree except every time I ask a client about leaving chips on site, in a pile or spread, they decline and ask me to quote for total removal. So annoying because if enough people would keep it, I'd buy one tomorrow.
  22. Every time I pull all the rope out the mechanism won't recoil until I dismantle the case so I'll be marking the rope later too.
  23. Brilliant. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  24. Nah, Just go back and tip a load of Yew on top to cover it up!
