  1. Depends how big the jobs are and how many of them you do per month. Mine will pay for itself this summer, easily, and I'll be buying another in a couple of weeks. 👍 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  2. Your right Ian. I have quite a lot of historical jobs that I've had for years. Really big Cypress and Beech etc, 3 men all day. So it's well worth it for that. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. It now ranks in my Best Things Ever list along with other cunning inventions such as: Toothpaste. The alcoholic drink. Stein Arb Trolley. Pagani Zonda. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  4. It sure is. I got an Easy Lift Harness a few days ago. What a superb piece of kit. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. Not sure but I guess it's a good question although I don't know why it would make a difference. Any thoughts. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  6. Not sure why I posted someone else's post. I did get horribly drunk last night though and was still steaming when I had breakfast earlier. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. I agree except every time I ask a client about leaving chips on site, in a pile or spread, they decline and ask me to quote for total removal. So annoying because if enough people would keep it, I'd buy one tomorrow.
  8. Every time I pull all the rope out the mechanism won't recoil until I dismantle the case so I'll be marking the rope later too.
  9. Brilliant. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. Nah, Just go back and tip a load of Yew on top to cover it up!
  11. I used it all afternoon with a small hedge cutter and I'm not fatigued in any way, at all, not even a bit! Usually with a short hedge cutter the hands and arms are pumped after two minutes and after the first quick break, subsequent breaks have to be frequent. With the ELH I can cut without releasing the trigger for a whole fuel tank and not even break into a sweat. SO good!! I know people say its a lot of money but its on low production runs. There is no doubt that it enables one to cut more hedge for less effort per hour, therefore daily production will improve. Money very well spent!! 👍👍👍 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. .........the best invention ever?? YES!!! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  13. I think I heard that the battery does about 2.5hrs. I think I've got a 64gb card in mine. Could be wrong. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. So it's a month on since the last post. Any progress/feedback yet? I was mightily impressed when it came on demo. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. Guess what the DHL man is bringing to me tomorrow! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. I just had to make several shots to get into one tree. First shot the RK hit the BigShot head because I hadn't positioned it centrally in the pouch. Second shot, the throw line wrapped around the BigShot head because I was too close to the cube. Third shot hit the head again! Fourth went out to the side because I didn't aim well. The moral is to be slow an attentive. I was hurrying, chatting and not paying attention. The next tree I concentrated and got the first shot, perfect. Using one cone of the RK ensures the climb line pulls through the tree without getting snagged. Love it. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. Gerbutt, I did at first but now I don't. Just keep mindful of how to improve technique. Also like Dan Curtis said. I had pumped arms at first as I tried to leave my DdRT technique behind. It takes a while but the rewards are worth it.
  18. Yes I always wear my watch all the time Royal Oak Offshore - Royal Oak Offshore - Audemars Piguet - Brands because it goes very well with my Rolls Royce Phantom.
  19. 2x slings & karabs. 10mm oval Maillon. Chest sling. Pantin. Hand ascender & footloop (occasionally). Sidewinder. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  20. Thank god you figured that out cos I'd be no help at all! 😂😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. Best solution ever! You could apply the same system to other jobs: Why buy expensive track mats for a Boxer. Lawn protection when dropping logs etc. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. Good man! 👍😄 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. Thanks for replying. It made perfect sense to me, I was just curious about risk. Obviously a great system. Looks like you guys use cranes a fair bit there because I saw a photo once of Nik removing some Leylandii next to the road, with a crane. If you see him, tell him to be better at being in touch.
  24. No. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  25. Where is the public safety factor? I see no shops. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
