  1. This is where I would recommend in Snowdonia. http://www.ffynnontownhouse.com/en/luxury_boutique_hotel_north_wales.aspx Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  2. Oh dear. That looks like a real hassle. Hope you're keeping busy and safe Mike. Since getting rid of my Unimog everything has got better and better. More productive with less profit erosion. Thanks for all your tips and advice. Keep safe. Al.
  3. it appears that an American will have more influence than the rest of us:lol:.
  4. That's awesome! I'd love to know about width, weight and price with the timber grab. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. Excellent! Hahaha. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  6. Rope Armor Rope Knight would be money well spent along with an Easy Lift Harness and a Stein Arb Trolley. It's just my stupid opinion though. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. Still hot. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. The cost depends on the Apprentice. If he's good he'll cost you a bit at first with slow production and blunt saws. Soon enough though he'll be paying his way and then should be earning you a little bit back. If he's useless he'll cost cost cost. It's a good scheme but depends entirely upon the candidate but also how you treat and motivate them. Don't forget, they are very young and sensitive so you must try to get the best out of them, for everyone's sake. Remember you are their mentor, not their drill sergeant. 9. Boiling. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. It looked like the axles were slightly wider so that would be a bad thing. Maybe it's just for the American market where biggest is bestest.
  11. I got the Dual when it came out and think its excellent. Lifting branches, limbs etc is more about angles than power, so with a bit of thought you can do anything with it. It will raise things slower than a GRCS, faster than a Hobbs but is the cheapest of the three. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. I just got an email from Treemongers so I had a look at their website, which is well stocked. I've never heard of them but then I noticed that their postal address is the same as Honey Brothers. Strange, or have I missed something? Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  13. Stand a Forst next to a Timberwolf with equal amounts of brush, straight Poplar or nasty wet stuff. The Forst will finish first with less effort from the operator. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. My local dealer Horace Fuller (Redhill) sells them for £499. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. Oh my god! Fair play to the guy for doing it but I think he got away with it unharmed due to luck, nothing else. Taking that sizes top off demonstrates balls of steel or total naivety. I reckon the latter. I was bricking it at 2:14 when he put his left hand up to push off a leaning chog while his other hand was still holding the throttle on! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. I meant "when it's NOT on the cutter". Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. I also changed the attachment for that mini strop on the shoulder that has a ring for the carab to clip onto when its bit on the cutter. The supplied plastic thing kept coming off so I put a metal shackle on instead. Doesn't pop off. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. I've got one. Work well. No complaints. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  19. I changed the carabiner for a slightly larger one that's easier to handle. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  20. I bought a new combi hedge cutter and used it yesterday with the extension I already had. Previous use of this system was agonisingly hard work, even when held vertical, and difficult to stop it wobbling. With the ELH it stayed perfectly steady and effort was minimal. With the hedge cutter extension I didn't have to use step ladders so the hedge that normally takes 3hrs to trim the side only took 2hrs. I spread sheets out along the entire hedge so that I didn't have to shuffle one along and apart from fuelling once and stopping to attach the extension, I didn't stop trimming for two hours, because I didn't need to rest. So, a 30% time saving and what feels like a 75% energy saving. Awesome! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. If you worry that a pink pulley indicates you may be gay, I'd suggest that you already have questions about your sexuality but are too scared to answer them. 😂😂 Come on, just admit it. You're amongst friends here 👍. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. Love your dog Chris. When our beloved Westie passes (if I don't kill the barking **** first) I may like one like yours. How's he/she been as a family dog? Thanks. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. Sandals with socks are definitely the way forwards with regards to comfort and common sense. However, I'd rather roll naked in broken glass than wear sandals with socks! The snipers rifle may have been invented for this crime alone. 😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  24. I don't mind getting pulled over because it gives me smug satisfaction to witness all the scumbags getting caught. Plus I'm always courteous enough to congratulate VOSA, Police, HMRC chaps on their good work. 👍 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  25. That's a good point however, only one beetle would need to remain while the Elm population regenerates then there would be plentiful sustenance for the beetle to prosper again. On the other hand, if every Elm tree was eliminated, what would happen to the beetle? Would it also become extinct or adapt to use something else? Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
