  1. Yep thats the best one ever!
  2. So are you saying that they have softened enough for general climbing?
  3. That's not a fair demo comparison because the Jensen is a much better machine IMO. :laugh1:
  4. None of these things would happen if the operators had to pay the repair bill!
  5. It's a 7.5" chipper but it will easily chip an 8" log as long as the log is smooth. The crushing power is good and despite feeding some very wet Conifer and Privet into it, the spout has never blocked. It's easy to maintain once you realise that there is a flip down flap to access the dip-stick. The clamps for the spout are ok but not brilliant but I solved this by cutting two strips off the hopper curtain (that I haven't removed, honest) and glueing them under the little plates. Now it holds solid with minimal effort on the clamp handles. All grease nipples are where you would expect to find them and having to open up the flywheel cover to grease up is a good thing because you get to inspect everything else at the same time. The hopper is a really good size for this class of chipper. Overall, even if the rollers are at half speed, two men won't standing waiting. I tow mine behind a 90ps Transit and it's fine. The only thing I have ever faulted is the black fuel tank but I'd rather have a black fuel tanked Jensen than a Timberwolf!
  6. Brilliant chipper. I'll write more later.
  7. Wet. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  11. So, who has been using this saw and what do you think of it so far? HUSQVARNA T536 Li XP® - Top handle saws
  12. Any one else interested? I'm still looking for you..........
  13. I've had one since january and really rate it. It's as comfy as any other correctly fitted helmet but the advantage is that the ventilation is better than any other helmet on the market. Take a look here for more info: http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/52221-protos-arborist-helmet.html
  14. Well, I'm looking for single or super-cab and the extent of the off roading will be towing the 1.2t chipper over a field or driving on grassy verges. Things a Transit can't do unless the ground is baked solid. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. So give us a review on it. Did you buy it as a pimp mobile or just for work? Is it better than others and what do you use it for? Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. Well done Aspenarb. That's a good informative post, unlike the other daft bickering posts (which includes my dross!) What do you think of the Chevy Tahoe? Only joking, don't rise to it! 😜 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  18. Not if you get your mum to do it in your house Dan 😂😂😘 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  20. Who invented the chainsaw? Answer: My Hero! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. 30cm Silky Tsuguri. Best saw and scabbard I've ever had. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. That's nice Carl. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. During the R&D phase it became obvious that the HH is super sensitive to hitch tension and I've experienced this to be true. It may be that the combo of 10mm Beeline on Tachyon in the HH doesn't work so well. Try 8mm or something you used on your rope before the HH. I generally tie my hitch pretty tight, bounce on it a couple if times then climb for about 20 minutes. I then lanyard in and tighten the hitch and it's good for the rest of the day. I know that some people put a stitch in the cord to mark their sweet spot, once found. Don't be put off though, it certainly took me several climbs to find out what good and not. Don't forget that these factors change as the hitch cord degrades. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  24. No it didn't cos there is no mud in posh Surrey. It was firmly stuck on a mild slope, smiling at my Transit for help! Hahaha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  25. How can a Defender be good for towing a 3.5t trailer when it's not a very heavy vehicle? That's a serious question, not a snipe at LR. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
