  1. I think you're better off calling Skyland on Monday as I'm sure they could sell you any length you need. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  2. Sounds like a good policy. Now, if that can be the bench mark and all other punishments can be based on that we might actually see some good punishments dished out for arson, rape, murder, chainsaw theft etc. 😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. Since I last posted 11 months ago the Smock has proved to be excellent and I consider it very well priced. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  4. For any hedge cutting jobs I can recommend an Easy Lift Harness. Thanks for listening. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. How did you get the solid tyres on the AT wheels?
  6. Drinking before going out to use the chipper?! Very wise IMO. Chippers can be dangerous so it's good to build up some courage first.
  7. What type of tyres Jonny and did they need spacers between the wheels? Thanks. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. I worked for a huge firm and hated it. Now I work for a small firm and love it. If you're in a predicament between jobs, my advice is to take anything. The small firm I work for now is my own so maybe thy doesn't count. 😜 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  9. I bought a Jet Winch instead. Almost the same as a Tirfor, works exactly the same, cost a lot less. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. That's how it worked out for me too. A Hitch Climber is more expensive than an LJ over the life of the LJ Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  11. Actually, I'm not going to read it but get a bottle of red anyway! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. What Nepia just said. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  13. I saw one a while ago too. Hahaha! This won't help but I told you to put your gear in the cab. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. I asked the same question two years ago. I think they recommend five years but I suppose it depend upon use and only you can be the judge of that. The main body and the main bolt can't be replaced, that's how they sell more new ones. I used mine most days for eight years (but don't tell anyone!) Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. I'd prefer a Snake Anchor too Marc. Adam, if it's designed for rigging I think it'll hold my skinny arse up. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. That's why I have not bought one either Adam. Although I can fully appreciate why they are that price. For me, a whoopie sling as a base anchor would do just as well.
  17. Windy. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. What he said. Many people do tree work as a profession but do it in a very unprofessional manner. In my area I estimate 80% act unprofessionally. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  19. If it has a Stihl label it will last 10 minutes and the warranty won't mean squat. That's my opinion after a few poor Stihl experiences. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  20. What he said. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. Two years full time on the ground then two years full time climbing, ABSOLUTE MINIMUM for someone with heaps of natural talent. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. I find the chain brake lever to be extremely useful for carrying the saw if fitted with a longer bar because I balances nicely. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. What did you put in the Trolley tyres? Thanks. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  24. Erm, it does solve all helmet related problems. It doesn't break prematurely. The ventilation is better than any other helmet. The safety rating is better than any other helmet.
  25. From another recent thread, It appears that Kernmaster or Hedera are the two favourites that are available in UK.
