1. I'd probably get one if you could have a clip on each saw, and if it didn't have to be shipped from abroad. Also, with one plastic clip on each saw, dumb ass groundies would break them straightaway, slamming them in tool box doors, stepping on them etc.... Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
2. But would you be confident in these weather conditions? Genuine question because I've been leaving mine for a week before nailing up. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
3. Agreed. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
4. Yes but it is not as good as a HC set up for DdRT climbing. On the other hand, get a Hitch Hiker and start climbing on a single line and you won't need to buy a friction saver.
5. I'd do this. However, a good arborist should be effective with a BigShot!
6. What the.......! We need more than that. Without photos and some words we don't believe you've got one. Let's hear all about it.
7. Hi Adam That's definitely just my opinion but I have been using both a Throwpod and RopeKnight over the last two months so I can now draw accurate comparisons. Of course, it's still just my opinion and the subject of a different thread so we don't derail this one. Thanks.
8. If you are a focused professional you should be willing to pee & poo In your pants so that you can finish the job properly and in a timely manner. IMO! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
9. The RopeKnight is an excellent tool and much better than all other throw weights available. Have a look at this thread: http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=57472 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
10. I've used the wheeled version and consider the pros and cons to be as follows: Pros: Every aspect of the design and performance. Cons: I don't have one.
11. So just post your saws to Spud. That's what I do as he's nowhere near me. I recently sent him my 395xp and it only cost £13.
12. A position is available for full or part time work. Pay is related to abilities, not age or qualis. Please call al on 07834414271 or just pm me here. Thanks.
13. I dint have a sequoia but that broken buckle is not cause for wild panic. If the OP had sat back in the harness and the buckle failed, he would have simply sat into the harness, not fallen out the front if it. I'm not saying that it's all good, just not cause to condemn it. Keep safe chaps.
14. They both do exactly the same job and the quality is comparable but the Pulley Saver is cheaper. I'd buy the Pulley Saver.
15. Depends how competent you are. I've had guys with ten years experience who were worth £10
16. I use a RopeKnight from a BigShot. My throwing is awful but when I do I use the cradle between the legs method an the one arm swing methods. A successful throw makes me think I'm getting better then the next throw lands behind me. I also have a 12oz bag for emergencies. I made a BigShot launcher with a windsurf mast and archery trigger which is excellent. Photos are in another thread. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
17. I'd just return it to your dealer. DMM are a very switched on company and they love to see every gear failure. It helps them to make better gear in future. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
18. Hold the toggle between your first two fingers and wrap your other two fingers gently around your rope. This will give you more feel. Rapid descents are for pimps and video 'heroes'. Why would you want to wear out your gear prematurely?! Just give it time, you'd have the same issues if you'd bought an SJ. So no, you shouldn't have bought an SJ, you should have bought a Hitch Hiker. Haha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
19. That's incredible but what a bunch if geeks. Are they German? Haha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
20. That's how it sounds in this case. Same happened to me once because the trailer just turns into a dead weight trying too pull you back down the hill with only the vehicle brakes for assistance. Also don't forget that brakes are not as effective when going backwards. Air brakes are the only safe system all round.
21. Isn't it funny. If this thread had started 5+ years ago it would have been a Stihl extravaganza. Take note Stihl!
22.
I'm sorry but I don't have the original more.

23. You mean you'd like to get into Eve Muirhead! Actually, I've really been enjoying watching the boarder-cross and the skiing version is mental. Any race that results in 3 out of 4 men tumbling through the finish line has to be good! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
24. Well I just got a 560xp and can only compare it to a ms361 but I must say that it stamps all over the Stihl on performance. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
