  1. I would recommend them to anyone, got the wx530 about a year ago and its been awesome, hasnt failed to split a thing yet and built like a tank! Also you will allways get great service from andrew at wallenstein uk!
  2. I have tried local free papers and magazines, arbtalk directory, flyers in shops and got nothing. Done a leaflet drop to 20 houses a mile from the farm and had 5 new customers! Also free "local advertising" websites are great because they usually come up on the first page of search engines if you type in anything to do with firewood or logs in your area, and don't cost a penny!
  3. Hi guys, i know this is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack but i thought i would ask the question anyway. Does anyone know of any seasoned split firewood that can be bought at wholesale in south wales!? In Cwmbran but i can collect if its a bit of a drive, looking for 50 cube + Cheers Ash
  4. Another vote for tree sergeon insurance, they sorted me out with insurance for just delivering firewood as i was worried if anything happened to someones property when i was delivering, you know what people are like these days! i would be covered, they were very helpfull!
  5. Im not having a dig at your price as you have priced it at what you think is wright for you but to give you an idea we have a guy processing our wood in south wales for £160 a day inc fuel and him operating and loading the machine and me with the telehandler either side we do between 16-20 cube in a 8 hour day and he can process stuff up to 12". Im not sure how different processing prices differ from up north to down south.
  6. Thanks for clearing that up! Makes sence now
  7. How are you guys getting grants fron the RHI allready, i enquired about it and they told me that aplications for damestic boilers started from October 2012!?
  8. Hi Curtis, Yea its awesome! we dont have any lifting equipment at the moment so we are loading rings into the truck and just unload them so easily! I have a singlecab Nissan D22 so when stacked it can take 2 cube but it does struggle to get going with 2 cube but i did expect that to be honest, a few good tugs and it gets going and saves me a lot of time when delivering. I will get a video or some pictures sorted next time i use it!
  9. matt that thing is a beast! going to watch that and see what happens.
  10. has anyone got £21k I can borrow please!?
  11. im interested in this thread as i'm wondering the same things at the moment, I have seen a few "yard loaders" around but my budget isnt very big and nothing seems to be in my price range

  13. Logman i think i might take you up on that offer!! Could you give me a call on 07772280850 or pm me please. Cheers ash
  14. At this rate i think i will be selling out im september!!
  15. I just wanted to know from people that have owned them what Ford Rangers are like? I dont want to turn this into brand loyalties just wondering what peoples experiences are. Im looking at them for the winter and dont really want to spend anything over 2k, for that it seems like I can get something around 2000-2002 with 100-150k miles. Cheers Ash
  16. Hi Martin! Im going on thursday are you going to be around then?!?!
  17. very interested in the WEBS2, called them today and they were very helpful so seems promising!!
  18. I'm charging £90 but will bd going up to £100 next month, the people around here charging £30-40 a m3 are actually doing us a favour, about half of the people I have delivered to this year have bought a £30 load before mine and couldn't burn it!!
  19. Brilliant, spot on cheers for that slack!!
  20. Cheers for the reply's guys, I would live to buy one but we have only just started out and don't really have the cash, second hand ones seem to go for near rrp price most of the time too! Wanted to hire one too see what they are like and how mucb we could get through in a week of so! Thanks again ash
