  1. Well worth trying to get it in an ultrasonic bath very surprising what they will shift !

Just check with the guy who's going to paint the top coat that it's compatible with the pylon primer as that is part of a two part system designed for galvanised steel (used to be three part buff primer black undercoat and grey or green grey topcoat) might be better to use decent etch primer paint reactions would spoil your day

  5. It seams everything is built to cost nowadays which could go some way to answering the above
  6. Powder coating is quick cheep and simple and bloody awful only ever good ontop of galvanised steel it's the pin prick holes that stones and chips that let water under and then rust but you never see it till it's a huge rust spot etc

  12. I have a BLC Bulgarian built forklift with a very smokey Bulgarian Perkins copy starts runs and say it should lift 2.5tonnes all for £500
