  1. Alot of the grass land in east sussex is grass as thats what its good at growing some of the poorer chalk and clay lands are very good at growing grass and not so good at Arable cropping due to the high amounts of imputs needed ! alot of the marsh land on pevensy and through to Romney marsh are left as grass as there to wet to do anything else with predicably but they grow good grass which feeds and produces good stock ! There is also an abundance of grass due to the diminishing number of Dairy enterprises due to the lack of income due to the milk prices driven so low by the daires and supermarkets loss leaders etc !

  21. Any diesel unless its a heavy smoker will pass the urrent diesel emmisions test as it is a smoke test rather than a gas analyser test so as long as it meets the smoke requirements it will pass a CAT has no effect on the smoke in the exhaust !
  22. Because how ever well maintained the braking system is there are times and situations that they will not release when reversing especially if you have tri axle trailers then there is sometime a wheel or axle not in complete contact and as the autoreverse relys on the torque of the reversing wheel to basically force the shoes against the spring untill they release if there is not enough friction between the wheel and the ground then the wheel will not provide enough torque to overcome the spring resistance ! i wouldnt know about this as i have never towed off road with loaded ifors and wet grass deep mud snow full loads or anything ~! Nor have i ever got stuck or had problems reversing !
  23. Yep you can have it mapped off and replaced with a straight pipe would run better and less risk of them nicking it !

  25. Hi yup there about just a bit of advice for you guys as im in the Exhaust trade yes the aftermarket ones are cheeper and there not worth as much they are taking them from most tall vehicles that have underbody cats ! Sprinters transits rangers etc. For the MOT you dont need a Cat on a diesel so why replace it with another one? we fit replacement pipes for people then if they come back they arent going to nick that its not worth it ! there are some different ideas re security the most effective seam to be fixed cages round the cats to stop them being removed! there are some deices tat clamp round the cat body and then have a steel cable attached to the vehicle i have heard that these are not very effective as they just cut the cable and make off with the cat! Problem is unlike scrap which you now need to be payed either onto a debit card by cheque or direct into the bank the cat refiners still pay cash !
